En nuestro recorrido experimentará todos los templos y estructuras clásicas restantes de este sitio declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, incluido el icónico Partenón, considerado una obra maestra de la arquitectura clásica griega, el místico Erecteion, dedicado a la diosa Atenea, y los gigantescos Propileos, portal de entrada como aprenderá sobre sus fascinantes historias, mitología y la expresión artística que las adornaba. También verá los restos del Teatro de Dioniso, donde se presentaron las primeras representaciones de obras antiguas y el Teatro Herodes Atticus. Este asombroso sitio jugó un papel central en el desarrollo de una de las grandes civilizaciones del mundo y tiene una influencia central sobre los habitantes de esta antigua ciudad que se extiende en las vistas panorámicas a continuación.

CONOCIENDO A NUESTRO GUÍA. Su guía lo estará esperando en la calle Makrygianni en la parada de metro de la Acrópolis, que está a la vuelta de la esquina de la entrada principal de la Acrópolis. Nuestro punto de encuentro ofrece una perspectiva ideal desde la cual ver el muro circundante de la Acrópolis construido por la civilización micénica anterior y brindarle una introducción a la Historia de la Acrópolis, su importancia y papel en la vida de la antigua Grecia, y una descripción general de los templos y monumentos asombrosos que está a punto de ver.
Aún en buen estado de conservación, una de nuestras primeras paradas es el Antiguo TEATRO DE DIONISO. Construido en los siglos IV y V a. C. en un anfiteatro natural en las laderas de la Acrópolis, habría tenido una capacidad impresionante para 25.000 personas y se considera el más antiguo del mundo. ¡Es sorprendente pensar que muchas de las obras griegas antiguas más famosas se hubieran estrenado aquí!
Ascienda hacia la puerta monumental (Propylaia) y la entrada a la Acrópolis. Cuando los templos de la Acrópolis aparecieron a la vista, los antiguos griegos habrían sido recibidos por una enorme estatua de bronce decorada de la diosa Atenea. Según cuenta la leyenda, los barcos que llegaban podían ver la punta de su lanza en alto a la luz del sol.
Construido alrededor del 420 a. C. y uno de los primeros templos de la Acrópolis, este templo jónico clásico estaba dedicado a la diosa Atenea y está en gran parte restaurado, con una posición destacada con vistas a la ciudad.
Este templo, el pináculo de la "Edad de Oro" de la Grecia clásica, fue una obra maestra incomparable de arte, arquitectura e ingeniería, así como el corazón de la ceremonia y el culto de la antigua Grecia en Atenas. Nos tomamos un tiempo en este templo más importante con una descripción general de su construcción, mitología e importancia histórica.
El segundo templo más grande de la Acrópolis, el Erecteion, estaba dedicado tanto a Zeus como a la diosa Atenas y su guía iluminará algunas de sus maravillosas mitologías y aspectos principales, como sus impresionantes estatuas que ahora verá en el museo.
Construido en el año 161 d. C. por Herodes Ático en memoria de su esposa, este impresionante anfiteatro de mármol continúa funcionando hasta el día de hoy.
TERMINANDO TU GIRA. Después de completar, su guía lo dejará en la Acrópolis para que tenga más tiempo para disfrutar de las vistas y tomar fotos. Si ha elegido una opción de tour continuando hacia un segundo sitio, continuará con su guía, terminando en su segundo sitio.
OPCIONES DE RESERVA : Tour Luz Dorada de la Acrópolis. Si elige esta opción de reserva, su recorrido se programará hacia los famosos efectos especiales de la poca luz en la meseta de la Acrópolis. Tour de 3 horas a medida de la Acrópolis. Si elige esta opción, su visita privada a la Acrópolis se extiende para incluir otro sitio de su elección, como el Museo de la Acrópolis, el Ágora Antigua o el Barrio de Plaka. The private tour is undoubtedly the best option, but unfortunately, on the day we visited, even our private tour guide couldn’t provide us with a standout experience due to a system outage. Although this caused a delay in our entry to the Acropolis, our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We learned a lot and had a fantastic time. Since we visited in early July, I advise you to bring a hat as the weather was extremely hot. Overall, I highly recommend the private tour.

Lisa was an absolutely wonderful guide for our Acropolis and Acropolis Museum tour. She was warm, kind, and incredibly patient, making the experience enjoyable for everyone in our group.
