This is the only way to tour Rome. We had a private driver that picked us up at our Hotel. Our Tour guide was a true historian and expert of everything Rome. I am a history buff but my wife is not really interested, following the tour she said she wants to do it again. Job well done RPG team!

Just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had today with Jan our guide. He was knowledgeable… funny and really took great care to make sure we had a great tour. What an amazing day in Rome following in the footsteps of Robert (Tom Hanks) and Vittoria (Avelet Zuter) as they race across Rome to save the Cardinals and dismantle the bomb. Our guide, Cecilia Sanchini, was very knowledgeable in recalling the story line as we visited many of the sites where the movie was filmed. If you are a fan of the movie you will love this tour and this excellent guide!!!!

Our 3 hour adventure was time and money well spent for our first day in Rome. Our guide (Matteo) was extremely knowledgeable and so well versed on all the sights. He shared his enthusiasm and history in such a delightful way you couldn’t help but want to learn more. We truly enjoyed the time and learned so much from him. He was awesome! Our driver (Valentino) was terrific too! We highly recommend for people looking for a great experience and overview of Rome.

Perfect way to start our vacation in Rome. Mateo was engaging and knowledgeable. The vehicle was clean and great to have waiting for us at every stop. Tour included typical stops and some not as typical. All thoroughly enjoyed.

Our guide Matteo met us at our hotel with driver Valerio in a comfortable Mercedes van. Professional and warm and friendly from beginning to end! Matteo has a graduate degree in archaeology; you can imagine the unique perspective he provided us in perfect English! We saw so much, and Matteo and Valerio appeared to know every crevice and side street in order to bypass crowds and traffic! Our two kids, ages 16 and 12, truly loved it! My wife and I were incredibly impressed with the courtesy afforded us! Matteo's wit, passion, and sophistication were so appreciated! We felt we had a university professor of Roman studies at our side for 3.5 hours! I have been to Rome many times, and I never really saw Rome properly until now! Rome Private Guides is money well spent....every penny! Imagine our joy when we arrived at Colosseum later in afternoon to discover Matteo our private guide for Colosseum tour with Gladiator Entrance/Roman Forum! Lifelong memories! Mille grazie, Matteo! My family and I had so much fun on our tour of Rome! This was mostly because of our amazing tour guide, Arianna. She was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested for the full 6 hours of our tour. Also, while walking through the city, Arianna pointed out small features that had historical significance. Without her there to explain, my family would have never known what exactly we were passing. It was overall a great experience.
