Our guide Chris was a fabulous communicator, timed everything just right and proudly shared his beautiful county’s highlights and history! We especially loved our time at the Blue Grotto!
Good, flexible tour and friendly guide. The van was a little older than some and the AC was a little weak for the hot weather but an enjoyable tour of Malta nonetheless.

I have been on 19 Viator tours. This was absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had on any tour!!! Suzanne was 20 minutes late, and her vehicle was a dump!!! There was only one door that worked and while driving, her back door flew open!! She was dressed inappropriately and did NOT talk to us (this was supposed to be tour of Malta and she said nothing!) She also talked on her phone constantly while driving, which is against the law in Malta. The first stop she made was NOT on the itinerary and she asked if we wanted to stay an hour there! When she took us to the Blue Grotto, she said we had to go down the steps to buy our tickets. It clearly said on the itinerary, that the tickets were included. By this time, we were so disgusted, we asked to be taken back!!!! I am appalled that this happened. There needs to be better vetting as far as tours in Malta!!! I will be curious to see if Viator prints this review!

However, we must respectfully clarify that several statements in this review are not accurate. The pickup took place within the agreed timeframe, and the vehicle used for the tour is fully licensed, insured, and regularly inspected in accordance with Maltese transport regulations. At no point did any door open while driving, nor was there any safety issue during the tour. The guide was appropriately dressed and provided information throughout the tour, as consistently confirmed by the vast majority of our guests. Additionally, mobile phone use while driving did not occur, and all driving was conducted in full compliance with local traffic laws. Regarding the itinerary, the initial stop mentioned is a commonly used optional stop depending on traffic conditions and guest preference. As clearly stated in the tour description, Blue Grotto boat tickets are weather-dependent and purchased on site, which is standard procedure. We regret that the tour was ended early at your request, as we would have been happy to clarify any misunderstandings and continue with the planned experience. We remain committed to providing safe, professional, and informative tours, and we encourage guests to raise any concerns during the tour so they can be addressed immediately. If you have asked the driver for a change We were happy to change your driver and the vehicle if you weren’t happy with it.
Great way to see Malta. Driver was extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, it was very hot and his air-conditioning wasn’t working all that well, but would definitely tour with him again.

The itinerary met our expectations. The sites were amazing, however, the driver was not engaged in the tour. She acted like a taxi driver and spent most of her time talking on the phone. Therefore, the “tour” provided a taxi driver, bottle of water, snack and magnet. All of that could have been accomplished for a lot less with Bolt/Uber or regular taxi service

Please, you have to understand that you haven’t booked a guide tour. You have booked a Privit tour. If you want a guide, that’s a different story with additional Cost. Just a heads up. This is basically a taxi service. There is no guide. Just a driver dropping and picking up. Does not include tickets to any attraction. If you are looking to get from point a to b then this is for you.

Milovan was an excellent tour guide. He accommodated our wishes but also took us to places we did not know about. At the end of our tour he presented us with a picture of our group. It was a surprise and very kind gesture! I would highly recommend touring with him and look forward to coming back!
Chris was a wonderful tour guide. We knew nothing about Malta before arriving. We saw Valletta, Mdina, the Blue Grotto, and other parts. We were interested in Apostle Paul history, and he pointed out the historical shipwreck location and other sites. Our favorite location was the blue Grotto. The natural beauty was awesome. There were so much vibrant colors.

Our driver did a great job giving us the history of Malta with enough leisurely time at all the stops we wanted to go to without feeling rushed. Perfect way to spend one day in Malta. Also did such a great job navigating the chaotic and busy streets on a Sunday with multiple cruise ships in the port.
