With our family of four (2 girls aged 14 and 15) the private tour done with Stella. Very enthusiastic lady with incredible knowledge. She has provided us with a very beautiful and fascinating yet.
Barbara Grdanicki was a great tour guide. She went out of her way to accommodate us! She took us to all the main attractions plus one we requested. I highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking to explore Siena.
My wife and I met Gaia on our first full day in Siena in the hopes of seeing and understanding more about the history and culutre of Siena and Tuscany at large. Safe to say we could not have gotten any luckier in connecting with her. Her knowledge, candor, humor and love for this beautiful part of Italy is inspiring. Her willingness and patience to answer our many questions (trust me, there were a lot!) made us feel at home and allowed us to connect with the area in a way that would be impossible in any other setting. If you are in or planning a trip to Siena or Tuscany in general, do yourself a favor and connect with her. It will add a dimension to your travels that would be impossible to acheive on your own. :)
We had an evening tour with Marco. He is awesome! So full of knowledge and is a true student & teacher of art history and the history of Florence. We started at the statue of Dante in front of Santa Croce and began a wonderful tour learning about the different influences found throughout the city. We were super impressed by everything Marco showed us especially the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. We were awestruck with how massive and beautiful the Cathedral is. Marco also gave us many insider tips like the best and oldest gelato shop in town Vivoli. He also recommended a great restaurant that we very much enjoyed, Da Ganino, so good. Thank you for a great tour Marco! We are already planning another trip back and will definitely take another tour with you! Grazie mille!!
We had a fantastic tour with Laura in 2019. She is passionate about her city and she knows many little known facts about it. She took us to places that only locals know about, but also to the famous sites. It was very informative and well worth it.
Michele was great and very personable. He made me feel very comfortable and safe as a female traveling Florence alone for the first time. I felt I could trust him and I did. He was easy to connect with and his passion for Florence made our time pass very quickly. I learned a lot not only about the history of Firenze but he also went out of his way to share with me a number of recommendations of non-touristy places to go which I really enjoyed. I would highly recommend.
Fabio was a terrific host for our Best of Florence: Evening Highlights tour. When we encountered heavy rain and had to seek shelter during the first part of the tour, Fabio offered to resume the tour the next morning during better weather. A special highlight was visiting the medieval district. Fabio was an engaging, knowledgeable, and accommodating host who went the extra mile for us. Please note that this tour occurred in October 2019.
We had such a great experience with Mattia. He is such a kind, warm person and just fun to be around. He took us on a tour of local estate and park we would not have otherwise encountered. It is not on the list of things to do in Florence. It was really interesting and educational. Mattia is super knowledgable and really great as a guide. I can't say enough nice things about him. When in Florence you should definitely book a tour with him.
We booked Matteo for the evening tour of Florence and couldn't have been happier with the time spent! Matteo is proud of his city, rightfully so, and knows all the details great and small about its ancient streets. Matteo took us through the empty nighttime streets where we could easily see the beautiful architecture without dealing with crowds. After a great stop for the perfect gelato and later a nightcap, we ended the tour with Matteo sharing his personal recommendations for where to eat which further sights to see in Florence and even what exhibits to catch or skip at the Uffizi. Truly a complete guide and a great night in Florence!
My husband & I had a wonderful walking tour around Florence with Andrea. He was punctual, professional & personable. It was obvious that he is passionate about the city based upon his knowledge & presentation. He was organized & knew how to skirt around the crowds. He pointed out details that I’m sure no other tour does, as they all appear to be on a race against time. We learned a lot about Florentine history, art & architecture. Don’t try to figure out Florence alone, go with Andrea!
