A very informative day , Luc Tromg was our excellent guide for the day who is very friendly and knowledgeable Plenty to see on this trip and an excellent local lunch as well
Great tour covering the most important landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi tunnels. Gives a nice overview, allowing to better understand the history of Vietnam, and picture how soldiers were living and fighting in the jungle using some very clever tricks and techniques. The guide is super nice, smart, and knowledgeable. He also speaks good English - we had very nice conversations on various topics while driving between different points of interest. All this in a comfortable, air-conditioned car and with bottled water provided (which has proven life-saving given the temperatures in Vietnam). I highly recommend it if you want a quick, condensed, one-day experience of Ho Chi Minh and Cu Chi tunnels :)
We were picked up by a very pleasant young man in a good car, and embarked on what turned out to be a great day. Luc is a very personable and knowledgable guide who took us around Saigon with the highlight of the tour being the Cu Chi Tunnels. The day was well planned and he knew exactly where to go and what to do. We kept hydrated with multiple bottles of water and well fed with a buffet lunch in downtown Saigon. What a great experience and it was because of Luc and his ability to share with us the history of Vietnam. Well Done Luc

Very good trip at cu chi tunnels . Our guide Luk was perfect and he told us everything about this place ! Very helpful and easy to communicate!
This tour was a great way to pack in many years of Vietnamese history into a day trip. Our tour guide Luc provided a thorough explanation of Vietnam’s interesting history during the drive to the Cu Chi tunnels (about 90 minutes outside the city). At Cu Chi, you can explore the tunnels and learn more about the lives of the Vietnamese soldiers. After Cu Chi, we returned to the city for lunch before visiting the historic Post Office, Liberation Palace, and War Remnants museum. Although the Vietnam war was a painful moment in history, Luc was very sensitive, compassionate, and welcoming.
I have taken several viator and TripAdvisor private tours but never got such a bad experience. We booked a private tour. We informed well in advance to the operator that due to jet lag, we will start late, we will skip a few visits, skip lunch as well from the itinerary. We mentioned in detail what we would like to accomplish, and we calculated reasonable timeframes and the operator agreed. However, after we met, he started with a negative tone at the outset and said he won’t be able to do everything we agreed upon, etc. He also changed the sequence and wanted to take us to the market first, knowing that the market is open late in the evening. This was to trick us in spending time in shopping, blaming us and then skipping more sights and thus saving on entrance fees. We insisted on seeing sights which close by 5 first and asked him to stick with the sequence we gave. We turned out to be right. The car smelled smoke, the driver was a smoker and did not care even if we complained. He also did not bother to come out and open the door for me, especially when it was on the side of traffic. Other tour drivers always did that. The tour operator kept on arguing and spoiled our experience. He took us to a shop where he probably gets a commission, but we did not buy anything as we had been to similar shop in our previous tour. That annoyed him more. At the end, he said his driver must go (just after merely 5 hours whereas tour was at least for 8 hours), then he said that the market visit is not even his itinerary. Fortunately, we saved a pdf of tour details and link to viator and showed him after which he admitted that he indeed has it in his itinerary, but he did not remember. Then he let go of the car and the driver, we walked and shopped in the market and he put us in a taxi to drop to our hotel. The hefty price we paid for private car and guide experience went down the tube. The operator said he was the owner of his company so if the owner has such attitude and has no problem with ruining customer experience, I don’t think you should engage this company. Viator and TripAdvisor should not put such bad apples on their platform.
Dear Mr. Pradeep, Thanks for your feedback. It sounds so bitter about our services. We feel so sorry about things that happened not same as what you wrote. So, we would like to make it clearer after our finding out all hidden clues so that you could see it again that you might forgot: 1. You requested our tour guide to start the tour from 9:30 AM and wanted to skip some visiting places that you did not like; you did also want to skip the lunch as you did not trust our Vietnamese food quality in first few days that could impact your stomach as you explained that you are doctor, so you understand so well about that, and you said that you spent more time at great breakfast in luxury 6 stars hotel The Reverie; instead of starting the tour from 8:00 AM and finished at 5:00 Pm as it should be as usual. However, our tour guide and driver had to wait for you until 11:15 AM you only met them when our tour guide tried to message you many times. We believed that it was your personal matters. So, we should operate the tour as usual and we supposed that tour should be finished as scheduled at 5: 00 PM as we booked our tour guide and car in that working time. If you thought you could customize our working time, you should negotiate with us before the tour happened so that we could arrange more over working time for our driver and tour guide and we would surcharge for your further requests. 2. The tour includes Saigon central market visiting. That is public business place for all people. We could not imagine how you thought that our tour guide and drive could take commission from this. 3. Our driver and tour guide did not get any signal from you that related to smoking so that they could not help you. As tourists, you had the right to ask them for help if any. We apologized that made you upset about smoking smell. 4. We did serve you till tour finished at 19:30 PM but you were still not satisfied. We do always try our best to serve our valued customers within our commitment. And we hope that you could give us a sympathy if anything made you upset but that was out of our control. Thank you very much. Best regards,
The Tour and Tour Guide was amazing. Bruce made everything effortless and we never felt rushed. We choose the private tour because we had small kids and it was absolutely the right choice. The kids enjoyed every minute and we as parents felt stressfree as Bruce and our driver did everything to make us feel at home. We have traveled over 20 countries so far and this has been on of the top experiences we have had on a tour. Would recommend Bruce and the tour to anyone going to Ho Chi Minh.
