Además de ser una estructura militar, el castillo es uno de los símbolos más importantes de la identidad cultural e histórica de Bodrum en la actualidad.
Museo de Arqueología Submarina de Bodrum El Museo de Arqueología Subacuática de Bodrum, ubicado dentro del Castillo de Bodrum, es considerado uno de los museos submarinos más importantes del mundo. El museo, que exhibe artefactos desenterrados de excavaciones de naufragios en el Egeo y el Mediterráneo, arroja luz sobre la historia marítima. Entre las exposiciones más llamativas del museo destacan: Uluburun Shipwreck (uno de los naufragios más antiguos del mundo, que data del siglo XIV a. We had the most incredible time on our tour, all thanks to our amazing guide Tugba. Her knowledge of every single location we visited was absolutely incredible—she shared so many fascinating insights and stories that we never would have discovered on our own! Beyond being highly informative, she was incredibly warm, engaging, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend to book this tour with Tugba if given the option! - The tour in general was great and allowed us to see the wonderful main places in Bodrum all in one day. This was our first time in Turkey and we felt blessed to have this beautiful day with our tour guide GG. The itinerary was amazing and easy to follow. This was a smooth day with GG our tour guide. She picked us up form the port and showed us all the beauties of this town. Driver was professional , vehicle was clean. We were not rushed at all. Later in the day we also saw how the Turkish handwoven carpets are made in the cooperation, we appriciated this art. In short worths every penny.
We had a private tour with Selim and he was great. We were driven in the spacious air conditioned van. Sellm took us to major sites and beautiful places with historical significance. We are highly recommending Salim.
