Impresionante vista a las montañas y lagos del Parque Nacional de Killarney. El lugar más favorito de Su Majestad la Reina Victoria, quien visitó Killarney en 1861.
El taller Dingle Crystal es un pequeño lugar familiar dirigido por el maestro Sean con sus hijos. Allí podemos ver cómo van apareciendo obras maestras en manos de un artista. Podemos admirar muchos de esos artículos en el taller e incluso encargar algunos de ellos para la colección.
El lugar que fue testigo del desarrollo de la primera civilización en la península de Dingle. Chozas que parecen grandes colmenas, construidas con rocas sin argamasa.
Cruce en Slea Head Drive. El extremo más occidental de la península de Dingle. Impresionante vista al Océano Atlántico y las Islas Blasket. Ese es el punto donde podemos tener la oportunidad de ver delfines o incluso ballenas.

El Oratorio Gallarus es una cabaña en forma de colmena del siglo VI. Es en realidad la primera iglesia cristiana del lado monástico en Irlanda. Galarus es un ejemplo asombroso de alto nivel de ingeniería desde la antigüedad. El edificio en forma de capilla está construido con rocas perfectamente combinadas sin mortero. Todas las rocas están en cierto ángulo que no permiten que el agua corra. El interior siempre está seco incluso durante las fuertes lluvias. Esta es la historia de los ingenieros keltic que no se ve en ningún otro lugar.
Kilmalkedar está asociado con San Brendan el Navegante. segundo obispo de Irlanda después de San Patricio. También con el conocido localmente Saint Maolcethair (Malkedar) que murió en 636. We coupled our stay in Killarney with a day of touring the Ring of Kerry and a day of touring the Dingle peninsula. Tony, our driver and guide was lovely. He was sure to take us to sites both well traveled and more solitary. Our first stop was Inch Beach, which was gorgeous—giving us a glimpse of a surfing beach with a broad shoreline. After a coffee, we made our way to Dingle, stopping along the way to take in the picturesque views (literally). Tony gave us two hours to tour Dingle and enjoy a nice lunch in town. After Dingle we drove around the peninsula stopping at the beehive huts and a pub where Dolly Parton once walked in and gave a surprise performance. Tony was very knowledgeable about the area made sure we saw the best of the peninsula and the magnificence of the area. This is a great private tour and Tony was a very safe driver and gave a great tour of Dingle and the Sleigh Head.

We had a great tour! I felt. Little bad since this was day 2 and jet lag hit me so a I fell asleep early on. But once we hit a couple stops we perked up and had. A great tour. Seeing Dingle Peninsula in private tour was the way to go. You get to go where tour busses couldn’t. I know we saw things the big tours disn’t! Peter was super pleasant and local to Kenmare, so he was super knowledgeable about things in the area. He also offered us help if we needed it to get through the Beara Peninsa if we needed it!
