Tour Privado Lisboa al Algarve: Cueva de Benagil, Lagos y Carvoeiro

This was a long travelling day. About 6 hours of actual road trip. Saw many amazing places that we were able to experience. Climbing on the rocks in many different places. Decided to book the cave tour thru our guide with Alantico Boat tours. This was to be a 1 hr. 30 min trip; however, we left 30 minutes late and arrived back at the dock before 1 hr. We asked prior if we would receive the full time and was told Yes. Did not happen. Due to the weather, we were unable to go into the caves, but I think our boat was added in as an extra to make up time due to the high volume of people and late start. All other boats had forward seating, but ours had side seating. Unable to hear the tour guide because he was at the front of the boat. Very little info and basically just saw the beaches while we whizzed past. Should have been a great tour, but because of our experience, I would not recommend this company. Neither the Boat company or our tour company were willing to address this. No compensation. Just sorry. Our tour guide was pleasant, but inexperienced. My biggest concern was that I asked him to slow down on our return home from 145km/hr 3 times. Told me that even thou the speed limit was 120, up to 150 was acceptable. I had to finally get angry with him before he slowed down. Would recommend staying in the Algarve overnight.

Hope that they will get notified by the tour guide/and or bus driver that the bus broke down and will not be able to pick them up

We had a great time exploring different spots in this beautiful area, our driver Luffy was great, knowledgeable and courteous.

If you are on a short trip in Portugal then this is good for you, the tour offers a journey to the best coasts of Lagos. Our tour guide Nayem was awesome, he offered very insightful tips. Mr. Nayem was excellent. He was on time, friendly, informative and very flexible with our plan as the weather was challenging. Also he is an excellent photographer and took Some of the best photos of this trip. We would love to have him back when we return to Portugal again.
