I'm originally from Grenada, but seeing these site seeing places is so breathtaking and my tour guide Travis was the best he treated me like I was family to him, and I appreciate him so much for taking me these places and showing me historical sites❤️
Thank you, Esther! Travis will appreciate that!
GREAT time with our guide Travis, a proud Grenadian and well educated in the history ! We did a did a 5 hour tour and touched all the highlights we wanted and a few extra that Travis wanted to show us. The Chocolate house was a fun education stop as well as walking around the spice market. We went deep into the mountain area and saw an active volcano ( under water) , feed monkeys , water falls and stopped for Lunch ! So worth there money vs other tours we saw and the pick up at the resort was perfect and Travis ( VERY personable ) was early !
Thank you!!
We scheduled a tour by the hour with Marcus and it started off and ended as family meeting, greeting, and saying goodbye. Our group felt like his family from out of town. He showed the island, the history, and the culture. He is a safe driver and gentle spirit. The conversation was great and we laughed a lot. Pricing was extremely low for the time, effort, and energy. He is extremely well liked on the island and greets everyone with Love and Respect as a good person should. Can’t wait to return and just see more of the island.
Thank you!!
Much LOVE IN THE HOUSE to you Marcus! We cannot say enough wonderful things about MARCUS!! From the time he picked us up until he dropped us off (about 6 hours), he was a ball of energy and information. We started our drive from the Sandals resort, we drove through the city and learned about local events, people, how Grenada changed its name several times, from seed to bar chocolate making and tasting, the local brewery for tasting and talked with the owners, the life of a nutmeg and its many uses, Annadale Falls($2pp) and had some yummy local drinks and food, the flora and fauna of the Grand Etang rain forest, Grande Etang lake and the volcano crater background, saw Mona Monkeys unclose and personal, we stopped many times for photo ops(he's an awesome photographer), to pick up some spices, local fruit, pretty much whatever we wanted to see or do, even the things we didn't know we wanted to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOURS GRENADA!!!
Thank you so much!
We booked a private guided island tour, giving some ideas of the places that we wanted to visit. Our fabulous guide, Neon took us to all the places on our list, plus a few extra places that he recommended. He also acted as our photographer for the day, capturing all the great moments, from the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the island and pointed out everything, on our way round the island, that he thought would be of interest. We booked six hours, but ended up adding an extra hour, on the day. We visited Grand Anse beach, Annandale Falls, Grand Etang Rainforest (where we had photo’s taken with the Mona Monkeys), the volcano crater lake, the rainbow tree and The Belmont Estate Chocolate Factory (where we had lunch) I would highly recommend Neon, as a guide. He’s such a lovely guy, a very safe driver and very knowledgeable.
Thank you!!
Tours Grenada was amazing and Marcus is a LEGEND! He has so much knowledge of his island. He knows everyone and he really takes the time to cater the tour to what you want to see. Our tour with him was better than we could've imagined!
Thank you!!
Looks like you’re in the United Kingdom. Go to the British Trustpilot site Thanks for your review! Toursgrenada logo Toursgrenada Your review is pending.Read more Natalie Finch 12 reviews GB Rated 4 out of 5 stars Took way longer than needed to When we booked back int he uk , I put it in the request we just wanted Belmont estate and back, I even reiterated this in an email to the owner and when we got in the car to the driver. We have toured the island previously so didn’t need a repeat. It took the driver over 3 hours to get us there, 30 min tour and then 90 mins back. The email despite me booking 9-1 , said be in reception at 0830 which we were, it’s normal for them to ask you to arrive early but I wasn’t aware they would charge me from that point even when I booked from 0900. We ended up paying 2 hours extra on card when we got back due to the route he chose, he kept asking about seeing places and we said no, we also made him aware my husband was not feeling well when we got in the car. I did also email 2 days before to see if we could move it with no reply
Dear Natalie Finch, It was YOU that has ASKED/requested an 8.30 pick up time in the booking form. I have confirmed your requested time 2 days prior when asking for your room number. You can see the same time in your invoice. Why would we charge later when your tour started at 8.31am according to our records? From all your various 3-star reviews and the experience with the island layout and topographic, being there for the 4th time, I wonder if a rental car, a bus or a taxi driver wouldn't have been the better choice for you than requesting our best TOURGUIDE Marcus to bring you as fast as possible nonstop to the other side of the island. You have specifically requested him due to positive reviews like Yvettes. The two of us have exchanged emails beforehand in which I kindly tried to explain that "...I see you are requesting Marcus and there might be good chance that you realize during the tour that you haven’t seen or heard it all, he will surprise you as guide and it still can turn out longer, unless you tell him clearly in the beginning that this is the budget and you don’t want to do longer, and want to be back in the hotel in 4 hours." Your response was "No it’s not about the budget we just like to relax we have tried to do a bit each stay and this is our 4th time to Grenada". It surely looks like there was a budget issue after all and while the other years the guides had the simple gig to pack as many attractions as possible in small distances, our guide was given the task to deliver his cargo to the furthest attraction, without stops, without talk, without safety. Reading earlier reviews, you could have read between the lines that this is not our way of delivering experiences and it never will be. While I understand your frustration a little bit, you also have to understand that we have got to eat too, and we can't do that with 4-hour race days but would never trick you in situations as you blamed us to. Regarding your accusations about moving the tour due to sickness: #1 you booked a nonrefundable tour and refused our cancelation insurance. #2 you have asked at 7.08am and said your husband wasn't feeling well YESTERDAY and before we couldn't even answer you mailed us at 10.26am "Don't worry we will leave it tomorrow at 0830 in reception" !!!! Wouldn't it be great to be able to upload screenshots as an accused business to call out the baseless BS of people!!
We had a great time with Marcus exploring the island.
Thanks for the review
Travis was amazing! He was very thorough, friendly and customer service oriented! This is the type of service you want for your family and friends that want a safe and exciting tour!
Thank you Marcus!
We had an amazing time with Marcus. He loves his island and his job. He took his time and explained everything in detail and provided as much history as we wanted. We got to taste fresh fruits from the vine and saw forts from the 1700’s and views from the highest peaks of the island and met the Mona Monkeys and visited waterfalls and local vendors. Best excursion ever. Learned and saw so much in 1 day. Love in the house!
Thank you Eric!!!
