El sultán saadí Ahmed Al Mansour Ed Dahbi no escatimó gastos en su tumba, importando mármol italiano Carrara y dorando muqarnas de nido de abeja (yeso decorativo) con oro puro para hacer de la Cámara de los 12 Pilares un mausoleo adecuadamente glorioso. Al Mansour murió en esplendor en 1603
La mezquita Koutoubia es la mezquita más grande de Marrakech, Marruecos. La mezquita también es conocida por varios otros nombres, como Jami ‘al-Kutubiyah, la mezquita Kotoubia, la mezquita Kutubiya, la mezquita Kutubiyyin y la mezquita de los libreros. Se encuentra en el distrito suroeste de la medina de Marrakech. La mezquita está decorada con ventanas curvas, una tira de cerámica, merlones puntiagudos y arcos decorativos; Tiene una gran plaza con jardines y está iluminada por la noche. El minarete de 773 metros (253 pies) incluye una flecha y orbes. Tour of inside the medina was arranged by hotel. Started off taking to see the historic attractions but then moved on the the Souk. It was a labarynth but felt we were being taken to specific stalls where the guide nee the owners and was commissioned based. When we asked to stop at a stall we were told no good and quickly moved on. We got taken to carpet shops and argan oil pharmacies where after a talk and demo we were encouraged to purchase items. This is a trip we could have done ourselves. Cost £40 or 400 MAD for the group (5 of us)

Soufian organized our airport pickup, all transport, guides, Riads and tour guides for our 5 days in Morocco which includes Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca and Rabat. Our guides were friendly, very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Soufian is delightful; he’s also organized, reliable, funny, accommodating and was great company. We felt comfortable and relaxed with him. Morocco is a beautiful and historic country; we had a fantastic trip. I cannot recommend this tour company enough and would definitely use them again for a return trip.

This private tour is a must to get a true experience via your certified guide. You will experience areas that you are unlikely to experience without the tour guide. We had Mohammed as our guide. His knowledge and keeping us informed made the tour very special. I know you are unlikely to get the same guide each time, but he was excellent. Thank You Mohammed. You will know who you are. Our favorite thing about Marrakech is having the pleasure of spending time with Soufian Laamiry, our guide.
