El Mirador Panorámico, ubicado a casi 80 metros de altura, revela una de las vistas más completas y emblemáticas de la capital. Este lugar abrió sus puertas por primera vez en 1979; su restaurante y cafetería fueron escenario de diversos eventos sociales.
Las playas de Montevideo están bordeadas por un bulevar de casi 30 kilómetros de longitud, lo que convierte a la costa en uno de los atractivos más destacados de la ciudad. Es uno de los principales espacios abiertos a los que los montevideanos acuden a diario para pasear y practicar deportes.
Este espacio público abierto es un punto de encuentro frecuente para los residentes de Malvinas y Punta Gorda.
Carrasco es un barrio ubicado a unos 15 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad, al sureste. El barrio se convirtió en la zona residencial más lujosa de Montevideo, donde reside la clase alta. El Boulevard de Montevideo se encuentra en Carrasco una de sus manifestaciones paisajísticas más exitosas. Paseando por la Avenida Arocena, perpendicular al río, se encuentran la mayoría de las tiendas y restaurantes del barrio.
Ubicado al sur de la Avenida Italia y al norte de la Avenida Rivera, dos de las arterias más importantes de Montevideo, se encuentra el barrio del Parque Batlle, llamado así por el gran pulmón verde que se encuentra en el centro de la zona. Está rodeado de barrios con un dinamismo diferente al suyo, como Tres Cruces, Pocitos o La Blanqueada, y posee una arquitectura muy peculiar.
Al recorrer la Ciudad Vieja, encontramos edificios coloniales, barrocos y clásicos de gran valor arquitectónico y patrimonial. En sus orígenes, el sitio era residencial, pero con el paso de los años fue ocupando oficinas y comercios, convirtiéndose en el centro de la actividad financiera del país. Recorrerlo nos transporta a un pasado remoto y nos hace respirar un aire tan antiguo como acogedor. Las fachadas de cada edificio merecen horas de contemplación; sin duda, los albañiles de aquella época eran verdaderos artistas con sus cucharas y espátulas.
El edificio en el que funciona el Poder Legislativo, conocido siempre como Palacio Legislativo, es sin duda el ejemplo testimonial más importante que tiene el país, de una bella y equilibrada arquitectura neoclásica, de fuerte inspiración griega en el conjunto de sus fachadas exteriores, eficiente diseño funcional, y deslumbrante en el diseño de algunos de sus espacios interiores y decoración.
Es un nuevo punto turístico en la ciudad y una actividad diferente para toda la familia, donde todos los sentidos se divierten con la frescura y la historia del lugar. El renovado Mercado Agrícola de Montevideo es el primer centro comercial especializado en la venta de alimentos no perecederos y frescos, con la identidad de la ciudad impregnada, y donde encontrará productos exóticos y una propuesta gourmet. Su propuesta consiste en una gama completa de frutas y verduras, alimentos frescos, especialidades naturales y gastronomía, complementada con una amplia gama de productos y servicios que lo convierten en un lugar único.

Pick up and drop off private at centrally located hotels in Buenos Aires (Palermo, Recoleta, Downtown areas). We also make pickups and dropoffs at Airbnb, but you need to provide us exact address. Pickup time may be subject to change based on the Buquebus ferry schedule for the day. (In some cases there may not be direct ferries to Montevideo and in that situation, the pickup changes to a later pickup time and a shorter ferry ride from Colonia with a bus ride included from Colonia to Montevideo. If so, you will be notified of this information)

Our guide Carolina and driver Jaime were great. We hit all the major points throughout the city and surrounding beach communities. It's a long day from Buenos Aires and back - but they walked us through every step of the tour from getting on and off the ferry in Montevideo to getting us back to our hotel at the end. Great way to check off the box for Uruguay!
Very friendly, informative tour giving to history, politics, gardens and pars of Uruguay. Visited interesting markets and beautiful statues.
It was an excellent tour. All arrangements were good. Carolina was an excellent guide, taking the time to explain the history of all the sights and also of Montevideo and Uruguay in general. Jorge was also an excellent driver. Everything was done well and very professionally.
Great overview of the highlights of Montevideo. Our guide was fantastic as she asked us what we wanted to focus on and was very knowledgeable of a wide range of subjects.
We had an amazing time with Andrea and Manuel! I highly recommend this tour. It may seem daunting or expensive, but it was neither! We got an amazing feel for the city, a very knowledgeable guide, amazing food (loved the parrilla), and many memories.
There needs to be better communication between the team members. There was some confusion about the ferry terminal, and the driver picked me up half an hour late. He helped me board the ferry, which would be difficult since I don't speak Portuguese. A long ferry ride and then the tour guide and driver met me at Montevideo. Basically, they will take you wherever you want to go. Paola, the guide, was knowlegible and did a great job. I didn't see it in the description, but they don't drop you off at the same ferry. They took me to a chaotic bus terminal with thousands of people, and left me to figure it out. The 2 hour bus ride took me to another long ferry ride, which also arrived late. Fortunately, the driver waited for me. It may not have been his fault, but I couldn't communicate with him until we docked. A very long day. Nice tour. Not worth $700+.
The tour was very organised and the sights were beautiful. We saw everything we wanted to see! It was very easygoing, would recommend to anybody!
Uruguay was a lot of fun. Our tour guide truly made the experience enjoyable and educational. We had a great time. The return (night) ferry ride was VERY long for some unknown reason.

The excursion was very well organized from pick-up to final drop-off. Business class ferry tickets were purchased with enabled us to avoid lines. Bea, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Great tour and we learned a lot.

The trip is well organized. Both Argentina and Uruguay guide, they have smooth connection for picking up at the port terminal. Our guide in Uruguay is very nice and knowledgeable, she told us the history, same time also the funny story, it totally made the full day trip more interesting. A little bit pricy, but worthy for a 1 days country visit.
