Pasearemos agradablemente por las callejuelas características del antiguo pueblo para conocer su historia y tradiciones. Al final del recorrido le reservamos una agradable delicia: la degustación del típico "café especial" de Polignano o un sabroso helado artesanal.

Itinerario
La visita guiada comienza frente al Arco de Marchesale para admirar parte de las paredes y la fachada del Palacio de Marchesale. Haz una parada en Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, donde se destacan la Torre del Reloj y la Iglesia Matriz. Camine por los callejones del antiguo pueblo y mire desde los tres balcones panorámicos desde los que podrá admirar la maravillosa vista del puerto deportivo y la costa. Continúe hasta Piazza San Benedetto y Via Muraglia, y dejando el casco antiguo pasaremos cerca de Via Traiana y cruzaremos el Puente Borbón en Lama Monachile. El paseo termina en el Lungomare Domenico Modugno, donde está instalada la estatua dedicada al cantautor conocido en todo el mundo por la canción "En el azul pintado de azul - Volare". Al final de la visita, se ofrecerá un "café especial" Polignano, preparado con licor de almendras, nata y ralladura de limón, o un buen helado casero. (Atención la degustación no está incluida para menores no abonados)

Valeria was an excellent guide. I learned a lot about the history of the old city, including details about the old fortifications. We strolled around and she spoke about the buildings in the main square and the relics and statues in the church. We then toured the new city and the magnificent views from different vantage points. The town is beautiful and the views tremendous. I highly recommend visiting and having Valeria as your guide.

The old town is gorgeous, the seafront promenade is stunning, Valeria is very knowledgeable and she has passion for the history. She showed us Centro Storico, Lama Monachile, Statua di Domenico Modugno, at the end we had ice cream at the popular cafe. We spend pleasant afternoon wandering around this quite town.
