Nuestra primera parada es el castillo de Windsor, el hogar ancestral de la familia real británica durante más de 900 años y el castillo más grande y continuamente ocupado de Europa. Both Robert and James, bus driver, were excellent. Robert was very knowledgeable and entertained us with his historical stories. We felt safe with James’ driving. We will do this tour again.

This was a wonderful full-day tour of Windsor, Bath, and Stonehenge. Our guide Angela was incredibly knowledgeable and commentated on most of the sites we passed in London and for much of the entire time we were on the bus to and between our destinations. Her knowledge of history is impressive. She kept us updated on traffic delays and was extremely thorough about how much time we had at each stop, where to meet up, etc. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned though we weren’t allowed to recline our seats. And we also weren’t allowed to consume any hot foods or beverages in the coach, which wasn’t an issue but was an interesting rule. The only reason I’m giving this tour 4 and not 5 stars is because it felt kind of rushed to only have 1-1.5 hours at each destination. It ended up being enough time but given how long we were on the coach it would have been nice to have a slightly more leisurely experience. Angela did say that squeezing 3 sites into one day was a lot, so maybe if I had to do a similar tour again I’d only do 2 sites in a day. I’d say Windsor castle was the one site where 2-2.5 hours would have been the most useful. We only had 1.5 hours, which meant we didn’t have time to do the audio tour and had to race through the staterooms. There was no time to see anything else, and we were told to try to avoid getting stuck inside the gate during the changing of the guard so we wouldn’t miss the designated meeting time. This was definitely a good way to see some famous landmarks if you don’t have a car.

Robert, our tour guide, and Kev, our driver, were both amazing. It was 34c (90+) and they made sure to take care of us. Kev drove around so he could keep the AC on, Robert showed us where to go to stay cool. They also did am great job guiding us through each stop making sure we had time to see the right parts and telling us what to skip. Roberts description of the visits was both entertaining and educational. Highly recommend.

Bucket list item checked off. Stonehenge! Awesome experience, made more so by our outstanding host, Aaron and our wonderful driver, Marlon. Aaron was probably the best tour guide I’ve ever had and I’ve been on a lot of tours. He made it very entertaining and his wonderful knowledge of this tour made it just amazing, he made history come alive. Bath was incredible, the architecture, the setting, and the history. I had a great plate of fish and chips at the Crystal Palace, which was recommended by Aaron. Windsor was just as cool, the Royal family was actually in and the Royal flag was waving. Aaron said he’s seen that flag actually waving in the wind only a couple of times. This was a great day with my daughters and my wife, one I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life.
