Solo ustedes dos, en su propio recorrido privado en un convertible descapotable, visiten la hermosa ciudad medieval de Obidos. Tendrá la oportunidad de pasear por las calles estrechas y explorar las tiendas. Puede recorrer las murallas con impresionantes vistas de la campiña circundante y terminar su visita bebiendo la tradicional Ginjinha de Óbidos (aguardiente de cereza agria), que se puede disfrutar en varios lugares, preferiblemente bebido en una pequeña taza de chocolate. Después de caminar por las calles de Obidos, puede quedarse allí para almorzar, O, con el techo bajado, conducir hasta la laguna de Obidos y almorzar en la hermosa playa de Foz de Arelho. Disfrute de un almuerzo en uno de los muchos cafés y camine por las playas de arena. Una vez terminado el almuerzo, nos dirigimos a la ciudad de Mafra con su magnífico palacio. La ciudad medieval de Óbidos es una de las más pintorescas y mejor conservadas de Portugal. Encontrarás un castillo bien conservado dentro de las murallas, y un laberinto de calles y casas blancas que son una delicia para pasear. La Iglesia Matriz de Santa María, la Iglesia de la Misericordia, la Iglesia de São Pedro, la Picota y, más allá de los muros, el Acueducto y el Santuario del Senhor Jesus da Pedra, de planta redonda, son solo algunos de los lugares de interés que se pueden visitar. En la confluencia entre la Laguna de Óbidos y el mar, la Playa de Foz do Arelho plantea la elección entre dos tipos de playa muy diferentes. Por un lado la Laguna, lugar de gran belleza natural con sus orillas cubiertas de espesa vegetación y sus aguas mansas ideales para los niños y la práctica del windsurf, beneficiándose de la brisa que normalmente sopla aquí. Por otro lado, el mar abierto, embravecido pero sin trasfondos significativos, crea unas excelentes condiciones para la práctica del surf con Bandera Azul de la UE que atestigua la calidad de las aguas de esta playa.

We had such a great experience last year with Lain, that we returned again this year! Best way to start our vacation - pick up day one with Lain for a tour. We enjoyed Obidos this time around and drop off in Sintra at the end of the day. Another wonderful experience and highly recommended.

We went to Óbidos, Foz de Arelho and Buddha Eden Gardens. Iain was the perfect guide for us. Explained all about each place and answered any questions. Really lovely guy and perfect guide. Iain picked us up from our hotel at the time agreed and our adventure began. From start to finish, it was what we wanted and so much more. Had a coffee stop in Óbidos, lunch in Foz de Arelho and Iain allowed us to explore Buddha Eden Gardens together. Has given us some great ideas for future trips and I will definitely return and Iain I hope will be free on our dates to help us explore more of the beauty Portugal has to offer. Ian was a delightful and patient companion as we toured Obidos, the Silver Coast and Mafra. He allowed us to set the pace, and encouraged us to take coffee breaks, to wander in and out of shops and churches. We had a delightful lunch at a restaurant facing the lagoon and ocean on the silver coast, and he gave us plenty of time to visit the palace and basilica at Mafra. The entire day was splendid!

An excellent experience travelling the area with Iain. He has an excellent local knowledge and speaks the language well. His tours are flexible and can be designed to personal requirements. Thoroughly recommended and he also knows great places to eat, which suited us fine!

Went on a full day tour from Lisbon. It was an exciting trip and I would highly recommend Iain Bendrey from portugaltours4two.com. We spent a few amazing hours at the medieval town of Obidos before being driven in a convertible along the western coast stopping at Boca da Inferno, Guincho, Cabo da Roca, Praia Grande e Azenhas do Mar, Cascais and returning to Lisbon. Besides the feeling of being in a walled-up medieval town with a castle, Obidos certainly has many interesting little shops to try out their amazing Ginja de Obidos (cherry liquor) and freshly squeezed orange juice. Iain showed us many natural hidden gems along the coastal route and that made the trip all the more worthwhile. The picturesque beauty of nature along the route was breathtaking. Do capture the best of Portugal with Iain as he patiently drives you on a safe journey and takes you to the best spots to admire.
