Conducir en coche privado por auténticos pueblos de montaña y visitar algunos cráteres extintos. Luego visitará una de las mejores bodegas del Etna y almorzará de comida local fresca con finos vinos tintos y blancos de Sicilia. Conduciendo en un cómodo coche con aire acondicionado a través de los pequeños pueblos de montaña auténticos, admirará inolvidables vistas pintorescas de la campiña siciliana llena de naranjos y plantaciones de limoneros, olivos y almendros, casas e iglesias construidas con piedra de lava. Nuestra primera parada será en Zafferana Etnea, pequeño pueblo con encanto en la ladera del Etna, famoso por su miel. Visitará una tienda de miel local y probará los productos del terreno fértil del volcán: miel, aceite de oliva, aceitunas, vinos y licores. Recomendamos usar zapatos cómodos de punta cerrada y llevar capas adicionales, como algo cálido y un cortavientos o chaqueta de lluvia, para estar preparado para las condiciones climáticas cambiantes.
Continuará ascendiendo el Etna hasta llegar a la estación "Rifugio Sapienza" a 2000 mt. Aquí podrá visitar los famosos cráteres Silvestri, admirar panoramas impresionantes, visitar tiendas de souvenirs que ofrecen regalos de lava y refrescarse en algún bar o restaurante. Ascenso opcional en teleférico y jeep con el guía alpino autorizado hasta 3000 mt. Si el recorrido comienza en Messina, visitará los cráteres Sartorius. Después de visitar el Monte Etna, el guía lo llevará cómodamente a una de las mejores bodegas en la ladera del Etna. En la bodega tendrás un recorrido por la finca, verás cómo crece la uva y visitarás las bodegas, mientras el experto sumiller te explica todo sobre el proceso de elaboración del vino y la historia de esta bodega familiar. Luego disfrutará de un delicioso y abundante almuerzo tradicional con quesos de producción local, salami, prosciutto, pan fresco, aceitunas y aceite de oliva casero y un plato de pasta tradicional. My visit to Mount Etna was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my trip to Sicily. We spent around half a day exploring the volcano, and the atmosphere was incredible, with breathtaking views, rugged volcanic landscapes, and a real sense of adventure. Our guide, Corrando, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both interesting and enjoyable by sharing fascinating facts about Mount Etna's history and eruptions. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sicily.

Our host Giovanni was an absolutely informative and friendly gentleman. Nothing was too much for Giovanni. He tools us to parts of Mt Etna, hidden caves as well as a local honey producer which was excellent. He then took us to La Gelsomina Winery for tasting and lunch. The winery was superb. A hidden gem if you were driving around this beautiful island. Couldn’t recommend Giovanni any more. We’ll be. Sack some time in the future.
Guiliano was a fabulous guide. Hiked the north side of Mt Etna - easy hike; beautiful clear day; very knowledgable on everything Sicily which was appreciated. Stopped in and explored a cave, fractured, honey tasting; and ended with a lovely wine tasting and lunch at La Gelsomina. Would absolutely recommend the tour. Thank you for the wonderful memories made for our family today.
We had a wonderful Etna tour with Corrado. He was so kind, patient and punktual. He has a huge knowledge about Etna and history and nature. We had very good time with him, after the tour we had very delicous lunch with nice wines. Thank You the all day, it was unforgettable!
We had an amazing tour of Mount Etna with our guide, Corrado. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. My mother has mobility issues, and he went out of his way to make sure she was comfortable and able to enjoy the tour fully. Corrado made the day feel easy, informative, and memorable. I would highly recommend this tour, and if possible, ask for Corrado!
The tour to Mt Etna was the highlight of our Sicilian holiday. Our tour guide Massimo was a wonderful man who did everything he could to make sure we enjoyed our day. The winery tasting and lunch we had was superb and it is in a stunning location. If you decide to take this tour ask for Massimo as your guide. His knowledge of the history and culture of the Mt Etna region was excellent and made the tour through the region unforgettable.
