Our tour guide Francesco was excellent! He engaged the whole group and customized the stories to our interests. It was very hot the day of our tour, and when my teenage daughter felt ill he called the paramedics and then stayed to interpret for us. I would highly recommend Rome for Kids for families and would definitely use them again for our next family trip!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Rosella and our experience. She made this such a wonderful family memory. She explained everything in the best way for my boys ages 7 and 10. We acted things out and learned so much. She also knew how to keep us in the shade and balance a 7 year old who was tired and over it towards the end with the hot heat. So thankful!
We had a lovely morning exploring the colosseum and the forum. Our guide Rosella was wonderful and gave us loads of information. Our 10 year old son loved the tour: Rossella told him stories and trained him in gladiator fighting techniques. Guide met us on time. We went past the queues (which were significant) and entered straight away. Fabulous. Highly recommend.
Sarah was a lovely guide kept the kids entertained and engaged and helped us manage the 39 degree day by pointing out water fountains and finding shade to rest in. The kids loved her questions and asked plenty of their own which Sarah answered with kindness and patience. We remember so much from tour- we definitely learnt a lot - but we also had a fun day which wasn’t guaranteed given the heat! Our kids are 7,10 and 12 and for this age group, the private tour was fantastic!
Paula was excellent. Despite a major heat wave, she managed to keep my kids entertained with games and pictures that kept the kids engaged. Also, it did not take away from our experience because the adults still got a great tour as well. I would highly recommend this " family version" if you're going with kids.
We had a wonderful experience and our tour guide was absolutely amazing! One of the best reasons to book a private tour is the ability to skip the long lines and head straight to the front — such a time-saver. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and knew all the best highlights to focus on. He also did a fantastic job keeping our boys engaged by having them search for hidden details and even playing a fun gladiator game during the tour. Highly recommend this experience — it was a perfect mix of education, fun, and convenience!
We had a group of 7, including 4 children ages 4-9, and Claudia was amazing! She kept the kids engaged, was helpful with questions, and incredibly patient. Honestly, I preferred Claudia's tour over a "regular" adult one any day. Highly recommend!
Bruno was an excellent guide. Very engaging. We split into teams and played trivia throughout the tour, which made it fun for all (teenagers and adults). Plus we learned a lot. He made the ruins come to life and helped us understand what we were seeing. Fantastico!
I was very nervous because I don’t usually book directly from the trip advisor site—but our tour was perfect. We had hands down the best possible guide for our family of 7 (kids ages 8, 10, 11 &14). The kids can be a tough crowd—but Donato was fantastic! We learned so much and got so much more out of our visit than we otherwise would have. I couldn’t recommend this enough!!
Marco was excellent with kids, was even able to keep a 3 yr old entertained! Perfect for family with children!
