Estamos en pleno centro de la ciudad; enfrente se encuentra la tienda Ferragamo, en el centro la Piazza Santa Trinita y a la izquierda la basílica gótica del mismo nombre, con frescos del siglo XV. También se pueden apreciar todos los puentes de la ciudad.
Plaza Ognissanti y visita gratuita a la iglesia de Ognissanti, donde están enterrados el pintor Sandro Botticelli, nacido en este barrio, y Carolina Bonaparte, hermana de Napoleón Bonaparte. La iglesia también es conocida por los famosos frescos de Domenico Ghirlandaio y del propio Botticelli. La obra más importante de la iglesia es, sin duda, el crucifijo de Giotto, más conocido como el Crucifijo de Todos los Santos.

Cruzamos el puente de Santa Trinità, desde aquí se puede ver el Ponte Vecchio, símbolo de la ciudad de Florencia, con descripción histórica y audioguía.
Una singular fuente de tres niveles en el camino desde la Piazzale Michelangelo hasta la iglesia de San Miniato al Monte. No se pierda esta hermosa fuente al atardecer.
La abadía de los frailes benedictinos, construida entre 1013 y 1018, es la iglesia más antigua de Florencia construida en estilo románico florentino. Como curiosidad, el autor del libro Pinocho, Carlo Lorenzini da Collodi, está enterrado allí.
La puerta de San Miniato fue construida en 1320 por Arnolfo di Cambio en el camino que conectaba la ciudad con la colina donde se encuentra el complejo de la iglesia de San Miniato.

The advertised title of this tour is "Private Tour of the Historic Center of Florence by Golf Car". VERY MISLEADING! I booked this because it was one of the few that said it toured "the Historic CENTER" of Florence. and I paid over $100 to go the same day. It was exactly the same tour as the MUCH cheaper ones (also ones from different companies) that correctly say that the tour gives "over-views" from the hills above Florence. There WAS NO "HISTORIC CENTER". Simone was very nice -- and knowledgable. And we had the great views from the hills that other tours have. Just NOT as Advertised -- and I am highly disappointed in Viator.
Great way to see many sights in a short time. Riding around in the golf cart provides a nice breeze and shade on a very hot day. Our guide, Freddie was very kind and informative. He also took very nice pictures of us at the various locations. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone. It is especially good if you are not spending a lot of time in Florence and you want to see many things in a short time.
The driver was very informed about the city, accommodating to our needs, helpful in getting great family photos and covered all the highlights of Florence.
The time was incorrect and the tour started a half hour later than expected
Those who book this experience save themselves a lot of walking! Since I only had 2 days, it was exactly the right choice. The advantage was also that I was the only participant, which was absolutely fantastic. All the stops at many sights were beautiful, and the view of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo was amazing! 👍💯 Overall, it was an interesting, historical tour that I can recommend to anyone who doesn't have much time or doesn't want to walk a lot. The inclines are not easy either! The driver and my tour guide were nice, explained everything well, and answered questions. Thank you very much.
We had a wonderful golf cart tour with Simone. All of our family including kids ages 10-17 enjoyed the drive. He provided great context for our stops, and we got out to see a variety of churches and beautiful overlooks. This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. The golf carts have seats for 5 passengers plus driver.
That using the map from Viator puts you at wrong location. It is synched to wrong location for pickup. The gentleman that gave us our tour was excellent he found us and came to us and then explained all the sites very well. Got azing photos
What a treat! Fantastic guide Simone - so friendly, knowledgeable & fun - nothing was too much trouble for him. We got to see a part of Florence which we’d have never done on foot. Highly recommend!!
Great experience seeing the city highlights...Michelangelo square and the most beautiful photo spit for Florence. Simone was wonderful as a guide. These private tours are the best!!
The tour was cancelled a few hours before the start on short notice, referring to orders of the city of Florence - we were then asked to cancel - why actually us?
