Itinerario

This review reflects the comments of two couples. We are world travelers who enjoy private tours. Today we had an opportunity to tour Rome as well as get outside the city and visit Ceri and a lakeside town, I’ll add later Our driver, Radu, was above fantastic. He was on time with a very clean Mercedes Van. His driving was exceptional! His commentaries were wonderful. We learned so much. We visited all the major Rome attractions except Vatican City for which we have a separate tour booked. Lunch in Ceri was GREAT!!! Many opportunities for photos. This was an all day tour. Pick up at our hotel at 9. Back at hotel 5;15
We had a fantastic day with a trip from Rome to Tuscany with Stefano's RomeCabs. We were three couples traveling. After pickup at our hotel we were driven to Pienza and Montepulciano. What an amazing day. Our driver was engaging, eager to share his country. He had great suggestions of shops to check out and restaurants. We did a wine tasting in Montepulciano that he also suggested. We used this company many years ago and had a great time and that was continued here. We would definitely book with Stefano's RomCabs again. Thank you!
As always, Rome cabs gave us a wonderful experience. Cesare picked us up at the train station and gave us a tour of his city. We had requested specific places we would like to see and he obliged. We have used Rome Cabs before and recommend them to anyone going to Italy.
My husband and I want to thank Rome Cabs for making our trip to Italy so perfect. They picked us up at the airport, took us to our hotel in Rome, picked us up at our hotel in Rome and took us to Pompeii (and waited fror us) and on to Positano, picked us up in Positano and took us to the Rome airport. There were no glitches. Every pickup was perfect. The drivers were polite and great drivers. We have now used your services on two separate trips -13 years apart. I hope that it will not be as long a wait until the next trip. Thank you.
It was a great experience! We only had 1 day in Rome and Franco took us to see all the main attractions, got to spend a bit of time on each, take pictures. Franco was awesome! Pointing out stuff we needed to know, a bit of history, he was caring (got a bit sick with the heat) and it was a great experience! If you are short on time, we believe this was the best way to experience and see as much of Rome in a day. We loved it!!
We just finished a two day Rome tour with Michele as our driver. Michele is super attentive and we highly recommend him and his company. The Rome Cab company is great right from the beginning when we started our inquiry. They responded quickly and is attentive to details. They are not a tour company. However when they notice there is a change to the recent Pantheon admission they communicated with us right away. We were not able to buy tickets online with the new booking system and they were kind enough to secure our tickets for us otherwise we had to wait a long time to buy tickets right at the spot. It was a very pleasant and stress free experience with Michele as our driver. He would try to get as close to the sight as possible and provided us with lots of information and history for all the sites. He also made lunch reservations for us to ensure we could sample true Italian food. We would definitely recommend both the Rome Cabs and Michelle for anyone who wants a stress free experience in Rome
We used Rome Cabs 3 times this trip (2 adults, 17 and 11 year olds). When arriving at FCO our driver was waiting a yellow sign with my name, so easy to spot and a short walk to the van. Also used them going to the cruise port from our hotel- our driver was 10 minutes early, friendly, and got us there in plenty of time. But our most memorable was our day tour, from hotel. Our driver picked us up early, adjusted the plan based on our getting a different Colosseum time than they suggested (it is very hard to get tickets on the Colosseum website!), tailored the morning slightly to our interests (our kids were faster so we saw more). He recommended lunch and gelato near the Pantheon, had a private tour guide for the Colosseum (again who helped us navigate slightly faster for kids who were tired). It was a perfect day in Rome and we saw so much! Highly recommend. We did have to book our own tickets to Colosseum and Vatican but we knew that in advance and they sent specific instructions.
We had an outstanding driver, Franco. His English was excellent. His knowledge of Rome’s history was excellent. And, he treated us like family. He managed the tour expertly, including time management, and adjusting the tour for our preferences. My wife, daughter and I got to see so much of Rome in one day. It was amazing. Franco’s recommendations for restaurants, shopping and Gelato were all greatly appreciated. For instance, he took us to the oldest Gelato shop in Rome, which was amazing. Throughout the process, booking the tour and tailoring it to our needs was easy with Stefano’s Rome Cabs. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Rome.
We recently visited Rome and hired Michele to be our driver and tour guide. He arrived at our hotel and was punctual, well dressed and polite. He carefully planned each day together to pack in everything we wanted to see (and then some) and accommodated our scheduled guided tours of the Vatican and Colosseum. Michele knows every inch of the city and had so much knowledge to share and recommended the most amazing restaurant to try some classic Italian pasta dishes. It was the best place we ate all week. He is also a great driver; he navigated the busy narrow streets with ease and never lost his cool. Would highly recommend this company, (especially Michele) we used them for cruise port and airport transfer as well. Always great service.
Booked a private tour for Sulmona & Castel di Ieri. Our driver Radu was amazing! He offered so many great bits of information all along the way. He was so friendly and responsive to our questions and requests. Highly recommend.
