Visitando un espectacular oasis en el desierto, hacemos una corta caminata a lo largo del arroyo hasta la cascada David. El arroyo fluye todo el año y hay muchos lugares para remar y refrescarse bajo una cascada. Vea si puede ver un Ibex en el camino.
Masada es un antiguo palacio con vistas al Mar Muerto y al desierto de Judea. Tomamos un teleférico hasta la cima y vemos cómo el rey Herodes el Grande convirtió el desierto en una magnífica residencia con habitaciones de lujo, casa de baños e incluso una piscina. Masada también fue la última posición de los judíos en la revuelta contra los romanos en el año 73 d.C. Simon did a fantastic job as our tour guide and would highly recommend him! We did a tour of the old city and separately a Masada/Dead Sea tour and on both he was fantastic. He had a great knowledge of history, answered all our questions and made our visit to Israel very meaningful. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough great things about Simon but first I want to share a little of my story. I just visited Israel for the first time, traveling solo, this July. I was was very nervous traveling alone and wasn't sure which tour guide work with. My trip was sort of last minute when I was accepted to the JNF Educator's mission. When I reached out on social media for suggestions, I came across Simon. I am so glad I did. Simon took me to Caesarea for what was supposed to be a half day tour. Simon went above and beyond. He not only educated me about Caesarea but provided me with so much valuable information about other sites including places I would be traveling to on my own without him. A week after we met, I was in the old city in Jerusalem, I had his voice in my head remembering things he told me to look out for there. He was more than just a guide for the one day we spent together, he had a real impact on my overall Israel experience. While I didn't have time to see everything I would like to in Israel, I know when I return, I will be reaching out to Simon for future guided tours. In terms of the logistics of my tour, Simon picked me up in his very comfortable, air conditioned vehicle, and was kind enough to drop me off at a second location. And to top it all off, after visiting Caesarea on a very hot day, Simon bought me the best ice cream I had on my trip. Simon speaks very articulately and is easy to understand.
