Este es un recorrido privado personalizado en un SUV de lujo. Soy aficionado a la historia y he sido guía privado durante más de 12 años. Estoy certificado por el Estado de Colorado para conducir y guiar en privado en todos mis recorridos. No solo te mostraré los hermosos sitios de las montañas de Colorado, sino que también te daré algunos de los detalles sórdidos y salaces del pasado de Estes Park. En el Parque Nacional de las Montañas Rocosas podemos hacer pequeñas caminatas hasta el Alluvial Fan y otros sitios como Spaque Lake o Bear Lake. Hay muchos animales salvajes para ver, como ciervos mula, alces, alces y más. Estes Park es un gran lugar para comprar souvenirs y detenerse para comer un bocado de uno de los establecimientos locales que se especializan en el juego local y la comida. Conduciremos por Larimer Square y la nueva área artística de RiNo, donde hay muchos murales de negocios que se pintan cada septiembre. Esta es una zona llena de cafeterías, restaurantes y, por supuesto, establecimientos de microcerveza.
Conduciremos de Denver a Boulder Colorado y luego iremos a Lyons y luego a Boulder y luego al Parque Nacional de las Montañas Rocosas. Tenga en cuenta que en invierno el Parque Nacional de las Montañas Rocosas suele estar cerrado por encima de los 10,500 pies debido a la nieve. En nuestro camino de regreso, conduciremos de regreso a través de Boulder Colorado y, si tenemos tiempo, nos detendremos en Pearl Street Mall.
Grand Lake es el lago de montaña natural más grande de las montañas de Colorado. También es un gran lugar para un almuerzo tardío. Después del almuerzo, el viaje de regreso a través de las montañas hasta Denver es absolutamente hermoso. Recojo de todos los hoteles en el centro de Denver, así como otros hoteles en un radio de 3 millas del centro de Denver, así como Airb & B y otras casas en el área de Denver. Si usted está más lejos, como el aeropuerto o el hotel del aeropuerto, le sugeriría que nos reunamos fuera de Union Station en el centro de Denver. Animo a los clientes a tomar el tren ligero, ya que es una experiencia agradable y mi charter no me permite hacer recogidas en el aeropuerto. First of all, you think you are booking with Amtrak but in fact it is Aspire Tours. They are licensed to use the Amtrak name. You have only one day on the train, about 10 hours. The rest of the trip is on busses run by Salt Lake Express. The train portions was as scenic as advertised. Dinner was $45 PP. Be advised that you spend your nights in hotels. All very nice but it's up to you to get there. Budget about $300 for Uber expenses. The tour busses, small to full size were all very good. Search Trip Advisor for my critique of Salt Lake Express. Too long to write it all again. Just know it concerns a 7 hour delay and the police. My advice is to take the train portion, then rent a car in Yellowstone for the trip back to Salt Lake. Definitely book a tour at Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain or you will miss a lot. Book the whole thing yourself instead of Amtrak Tours. Book everything separately so you are in control. In Yellow stone we stayed at the Gray Wolf Inn. Newly remodeled. Very Nice. The tour also set us up at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center and the Warwick Denver Hotel. The Warwick is a very nice hotel but not in a good area of town.
It was absolutely an over the top experience! Brad was such an accommodating tour guide, and we saw some of the most beautiful sites ever! Brad really went out of his way to make us feel special and customize our trip to exactly how we wanted it. We highly recommend this private tour far above larger group tours. I lived in Denver so trips to Estes Park and RMNP are old hat for me. The new park system requires visitors to get a timed entry into the park and you must enter during that 2-hour window. If you enter during your assigned time, you can leave the Park and return. No timed pass is required before 9am or after 4pm. I stay at a friend's home, so I can't speak to accommodations. During the summer, downtown Estes Park is elbow-to-elbow people. The ideal time for a visit is early June or after Labor Day. The drive up Independence Pass is easy for mountain drivers but can be a bit scary for "flat-landers!" However, It's spectacular and there is still snow at the top in June. The road generally doesn't open until Memorial Day. The snowbank on each side of the road after it's first plowed can easily be more than 10 ft. high. There is also hiking (trails from easy to "you've got to be kidding!", horseback riding, etc. etc. Activities abound.
We had a great time with our guide Brad who showed us the sights of the Rockies and us being handicapped helped my husband get around with his sitting walker and removing walker from car and going and getting drinks for us and also took some pictures for us. We appreciated what he did for us. He was great and we appreciated his help.
Brad was very helpful from the moment I first contacted him about doing a tour. I was very pleased with his responsiveness, his tips and advice about what to focus on and especially with his patience in dealing with all my questions. The tour itself was very relaxing and enjoyable for both my husband and me. Brad went out of his way to make sure we saw all the things that interested us!
Brad is an excellent tour guide. He gave us an wonderful and memorable tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. He knew exactly which sights to take us to and supplemented the awesome beauty of the Park with his tremendous knowledge of the Park as well as other parts of Colorado. Eric made us laugh while informing us of all the beauty and nature details around us. He even turned around once so we could see some elk we had missed near the road a few yards earlier. Ask for Eric when you go! Well worth the price. It saved my husband from us screaming "you're too close to the edge!.......get over!" so he was able to enjoy the view as well!
