Descripción
Tendrás un tour privado a la antigua necrópolis en las Montañas Tebanas en Cisjordania de Luxor. Comenzamos en el espectacular Valle de los Reyes, donde descenderás a 3 Tumbas Reales. La siguiente es una visita al templo mortuorio excavado en la roca de la reina Hatshepsut en Deir El Bahari, donde se le mostrarán los murales más hermosos y tendrá tiempo para pasear. Continuamos para una breve parada fotográfica en los Colosos de Memnon, dos estatuas inmensas que custodian la excavación en curso del palacio de Amenofis III. Después del almuerzo en un buen restaurante local, regresamos a East Bank para visitar el Templo de Karnak y mostrarle dónde faraones como Tutankamón, Hatchepsut y Ramsés II realizaron sus rituales sagrados. El complejo del Templo de Karnak contiene lagos sagrados, salas hipóstilas, obeliscos, pilones y santuarios. El Templo de Luxor, decora con gracia las orillas del río Nilo, dedicado, no a una deidad o faraón, sino al Rejuvenecimiento de la Realeza y centro del Festival Opet.

Itinerario
Visitará la antigua necrópolis de la antigua Tebas en la Ribera Occidental de Luxor. Lo llevaremos al espectacular Valle de los Reyes, donde hasta ahora se han encontrado 63 tumbas que van desde una cripta de una cámara (KV54) a una tumba con 120 cámaras (KV5). Podrás visitar 3 tumbas con la entrada. Las tumbas de Tutankamon y Seti I requieren entradas separadas (no incluidas).
Visitaremos el templo funerario de Hatshepsut excavado en roca. Después de la muerte de su esposo, Thutmose II, Hatshepsut tomó el reinado como co-regente o autoproclamado Faraón en lugar de Thutmose III. De cualquier manera, ella era una guerrera hábil y un gobernante fuerte que restablecía las rutas comerciales con países extranjeros. Prueba de su éxito y sus logros están escritos en las paredes de su templo conmemorativo en Deir El-Bahari.
Nos detendremos en la base de los magníficos Colosos de Memnon, dos inmensas estatuas que custodian la excavación en curso del palacio de Amenofis III. Las estatuas son en realidad semejanzas de Faraón Amenophis III. Memnon fue un héroe de las guerras de Troya, se dice que es el hijo de Eos, la diosa de Dawn. Debido a un terremoto en 27BC, una de las estatuas fue dañada y debido a fuerzas de la naturaleza, se dijo que "silbaba" o "cantaba" al amanecer.
Visitará el Templo de Karnak, el segundo templo religioso más grande del mundo después de Angkor Wat en Camboya. La construcción del primer complejo de templos se inició hace unos 3,500 años y se detuvo en la era ptolemaica. El Templo de Karnak es una colección de recintos para Amun Re, Mut y Monsu y contiene lagos sagrados, salas hipóstilas, obeliscos, torres y santuarios. Dentro de las paredes hay un museo al aire libre separado que requiere una entrada adicional, al igual que el recinto de Mut. Su guía lo guiará a través del templo, compartiendo los aspectos históricos más destacados y dándole suficiente tiempo para pasear entre las antiguas murallas.
Visitará el Templo de Luxor, dedicado, no a una deidad o faraón, sino al Rejuvenecimiento de la realeza y al centro del Festival Opet. En la antigüedad, los templos de Karnak y Luxor estaban conectados por el callejón de la esfinge que aún se está excavando. Muchos faraones fueron coronados aquí, ya sea en realidad o en teoría (como Alejandro Magno, quien afirmó que fue coronado en Tebas pero que probablemente nunca visitó la antigua capital). Podrá contemplar el significado religioso del lugar, ya que la Tríada de Tebas tiene santuarios, existe una capilla romana dentro de los muros que luego se transformó en una iglesia y sobre la parte superior del templo descansa la mezquita de Abu Haggag.

We were lucky enough to have Ahmed as our guide for 3 days based in Luxor. He has an excellent command of ancient Egyptian history, delivers information in a clear way with excellent English, patiently answered all of our many questions, and had a nice style and sense of humor. We had other Egyptologist guides during our time in Egypt but he was our favorite because of his passion for his country's ancient history and his affable style and interactions with us. We really enjoyed our visit with Smiley! He is an amazing expert and a real egyptilogue. We had all the explantions needed to understand the complex history of Egyptians in Louxor. We recomend you to book a visit with Smiley if you are curious and wants detailled explanations. If only all guides could be such experts! Our driver Moustapha was very friendly and drove safely from one station to the other. AC was working perfectly (thanks god we had 45 degrees) ans the car was super. Thanks a lot Smiley and Mustapha!

The experience was so amazing with the company and the capitan was so gentel and smiling. We took many photos of the Luxor’s city and we’re so happy the make the experience. The pickup was at 6:30 am and we have had a hot tea in the sailing boat before tranporting us in the ouest side of the Nil. An amazing tour! My tour Guide Ramez was so professional. He showed me everything and informed me about the history. He has answered all my questions. He was so nice and friendly.
