En este recorrido descubrirá los encantos de dos ciudades declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco. Toledo y Segovia. Al llegar a la “Ciudad de las Tres Culturas”, comenzamos con un recorrido a pie por Toledo, descubriremos las calles estrechas, plazas y jardines y una visita al interior de la impresionante Catedral de los Primates. (en caso de que lo tengas incluido). La Catedral es uno de los monumentos más impresionantes de Toledo y España, obra maestra del estilo gótico en España. Es una visita imprescindible en el corazón de Toledo. Una espectacular pieza de la arquitectura y el arte español. Después de eso, tendrá tiempo libre para explorar el resto de la ciudad. Luego nos dirigiremos a Segovia, rica en monumentos históricos, destacando su majestuoso acueducto romano. Visitaremos los interiores de la catedral gótica y el Alcázar del siglo XII, espectacular edificio fortificado. Tiempo libre para explorar el resto de la ciudad. Picnic incluido.

La catedral de Toledo es una de las tres catedrales del alto gótico del siglo XIII en España y se considera, en opinión de algunas autoridades, como la obra maestra del estilo gótico en España. Comenzó en 1226 bajo el gobierno de Fernando III y las últimas contribuciones góticas se hicieron en el siglo XV cuando, en 1493, las bóvedas de la nave central se terminaron durante la época de los Reyes Católicos. Fue modelado después de la Catedral de Bourges, aunque su plan de cinco naves es una consecuencia de la intención de los constructores de cubrir todo el espacio sagrado de la antigua mezquita de la ciudad con la catedral y del antiguo sahn con el claustro. También combina algunas características del estilo mudéjar, principalmente en el claustro, con la presencia de arcos multifoiled en el triforium. La incorporación espectacular de la luz y los logros estructurales de las bóvedas ambulatorias son algunos de sus aspectos más notables.
La catedral de Segovia es la catedral católica de estilo gótico ubicada en la plaza principal de la ciudad de Segovia, en la comunidad de Castilla y León, España. La iglesia, dedicada a la Virgen María, fue construida en estilo gótico a mediados del siglo XVI.
El Alcázar de Segovia es un alcázar medieval ubicado en la ciudad de Segovia, Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Se levanta sobre un peñasco rocoso sobre la confluencia de dos ríos cerca de las montañas de Guadarrama, y es uno de los palacios-castillos más característicos de España por su forma, como la proa de un barco.
La Sierra de Guadarrama es una cadena montañosa que forma la principal sección oriental del Sistema Central, el sistema de cadenas montañosas a lo largo del centro de la Península Ibérica. Se ubica entre los sistemas Sierra de Gredos en la provincia de Ávila, y Sierra de Ayllón en la provincia de Guadalajara.
Esta construcción mudéjar fue construida en 1180. Tiene cinco naves separadas por pilares que soportan arcos de herradura. En el siglo XV se convirtió en una iglesia, aunque hoy en día es simplemente un monumento abierto a los visitantes. Tiene un techo de madera artesonado, altares platerescos y un retablo de la escuela de Berruguete.
La iglesia parroquial debe haber sido fundada después de la Reconquista cristiana de la ciudad por Alfonso VI en 1085, ya que las primeras noticias que tenemos de su existencia son de 1142. Desde el primer edificio mudéjar, ha mantenido el gran arco multifilar sobrepuesto al arco principal que separa la nave principal del presbiterio junto con los robustos contrafuertes de esta parte de la nave y un pequeño arco de trébol en un friso de ladrillos arreglado en estilo mudéjar que sobrevive en la parte alta en lo que solía ser el santuario semicircular de Iglesia original de una sola nave.
Este monasterio fue fundado por el rey Fernando II de Aragón y la reina Isabel I de Castilla para conmemorar el nacimiento de su hijo, el Príncipe Juan, y su victoria en la batalla de Toro (1476) sobre el ejército de Alfonso V de Portugal. Toledo fue elegido como el sitio para la construcción del monasterio debido a su ubicación geográfica central y porque había sido la capital del antiguo reino visigodo, reconstruido simbólicamente por Isabel y Fernando con la restauración de la unidad perdida de España, a través de la unión de Castilla. con Aragón.

We hadva wonderful experience with Arantxa. She was wonderful! Toledo was great but I (as an engineer) thought Segovia and the Roman Aquaduct was over the top Arantxa picked us up at our hotel and right from the start she made us feel welcome just as if our sister aas giving ud the tour. Alqays quivk witj a smole and grest info she was as impresivecas the sights. If you get the chance to requedt her....just do it. A long but awesome day!
