Itinerario

Ismaili was a superb guide with excellent English skills. He was knowlegeable, helpful, and went out of his way to add an extra unscheduled stop in which we were particularly interested to the itinerary. We recommend him highly.
This was a day trip from Baku to the World Heritage city of Sheki. It was quite a distance from Baku, so I was a little worried, but the scenery along the way was amazing and our guide, Alex, had a great time telling stories. It would actually be nice to stay overnight in Sheki, but I still had a lot of fun on the day trip. It was a great tour for experiencing Azerbaijan outside of Baku. I highly recommend it for people who like cities with a sense of history.
I enjoyed the day trip to Sheki - Ali was a knowledgeable guide and everything went to plan and pickup on time. It's a long trip and you only get a couple of hours in Sheki. If you have time I'd recommend staying a night - seems like a nice place to spend some time. However this is a great option if you're rushed and don't want to be crammed into a tour bus. Ali and his driver were great company for the 12 hour round trip - would recommend.
A tour guide to destroy your day! The tour guide happened to not only show any interest in our tour but also to be racist expressing his personal political views with so much hate – something completely unprofessional, inappropriate, and unacceptable for a guide! On top of everything, had we not pointed it out, he would have missed our first scheduled stop at the mosque – even though it was explicitly included in the booking – and no historical background or explanation was given, despite us asking for that at the beginning of the tour. It was more important to the guide to constantly talk to the driver all the way to Sheki and back, showing no regard for us, despite this being a private tour. That’s not the behaviour I would expect from a tour guide on a private tour and would never recommend him to anyone else. He ruined our visit to beautiful Sheki.
went solo with a private driver / guide. we visited all places as promised. the driver / guide was awesome. patient. chose a great restaurant for dinner. great driver.
Thanks for sharing your review! Will wait you again in our beautiful country. Do not forget to recommend us to your friends :) Regards, Narmin
We did a 2D1N private tour to Shekki and Gabala, with Elshad as our guide and driver (sorry I forgot his name). The driver and guide were both very attentive to our needs, and made the trip very enjoyable. When we were running behind time to our lunch place, due to we took too much time at one destination, the guide brought us some snacks in case we were hungry. We asked for a place with authentic local food, and was brought to a really nice restaurant where mostly locals go, we dont like touristy places, as we want to experience local way of life. Elshad has very good knowledge of the places we visited. Our entire experience with Guided Azerbaijan has been really great, starting from the first point of contact. Narmin, the lady who contacted us on the tour itineraries/etc were very helpful and prompt on her responses to our questions. I highly recommended this tour.

We had a fantastic 2 day tour with Cemaleddin as our guide and Nazir as our driver. They were both super nice and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend Sheki. It is a lovely town and we went shopping at the market.

We took an amazing private 2 day tour that covered sites in Shamakhi, Gabala, and Sheki. We stayed overnight in Gabala. The tour was arranged by Guided Azerbaijan and was a great mixture of nature (Gabala) and cultural sites (Shamakhi & Sheki). We had a great guide, Ulya, and driver, that took full care of us, explained very clearly the sites, and took us safely and promptly from place to place, from the pick up at the hotel until the drop off back at the hotel after the tour. They arranged the itinerary so we would use the time most efficiently, and see the sights at the right time of day where the light was the best and we were lucky to have very good weather. We asked to stop frequently to take great pictures, and enjoyed the views and discussions in the car. Also the choices for lunch during the tour were excellent. Would highly recommend this 2 day tour and both Ulya the guide and the driver !!

Sheki is a beautiful town in Azerbaijan and should not be missed. I loved everything about this small town and views were picturesque. Our tour guide Jamal & his driver were great and Jamal even made sure to help us with ordering the vegetarian food by translating our requirements to hotel staff and recommending few dishes. Overall Sheki tour is something every person visiting Azerbaijan for the first time should have on their itenarary.

Sheki tour was fun, bear in mind its further away from Gabala about an hour so make sure to keep that in mind. But in all it was fun especially how the windows of the Sheki palace was made and built. It was fun and informative tour.
