Visitaremos el templo Mool Gandh Kuti Vihara, que fue construido por la 'Sociedad Mahabodhi' con sede en Sri Lanka. Este templo cuenta con hermosos murales pintados por un artista japonés. Este templo también alberga las reliquias de Buda, que se exhiben públicamente durante 3 días en noviembre.
Visitaremos este parque arqueológico que tiene restos de antiguos monasterios budistas y muchas estupas.
Visitaremos el museo de sitio que alberga el emblema nacional de la India, una de las imágenes más bellas de Buda y algunas otras esculturas muy importantes y significativas.
Este lugar tiene los restos del pilar Ashokan que también contiene la inscripción en lengua pali y escritura brahmi. Este pilar tenía un capitel de león con cuatro leones espalda con espalda, que fue adoptado como el emblema nacional de la India después de la independencia.

If you're visiting Varanasi, having a good guide makes all the difference, and Karan is excellent. Our day was really well structured, starting with a boat ride on the Ganges and continuing with a walk through all the ghats and the old city. We managed to cover a lot in one day without feeling rushed. He knows the city inside out and took us to local places and activities that we honestly would never have found on our own. His knowledge of history and religion is impressive, he explained everything clearly and was happy to answer every question we had. But what really stood out is that beyond being knowledgeable and professional, he was genuinely warm and friendly. By the end of the day it felt less like a tour and more like exploring the city with a friend. Highly recommend!

Karan is incredibly smart and charismatic. What sets him apart from other tours is that he doesn’t just explain India and Varanasi but mostly importantly he was explaining things with a comparative approach against other cultures which shows his understanding and knowledge of not only India but also the rest of the world. Highly recommended! I took a tour with Karan to Sarnath. It was very good experience. This tour was really worthwhile, Karan organised everything for us from buying our museum tickets to grabbing us a delicious coconut drink/snack for the journey home. He was very well-informed and answered every question we had. We came away with a much better understanding of Buddhism in general, thanks to his in-depth explanations. Karan was also very considerate when we asked to postpone the original booking after we had a difficult night’s sleep. Would highly recommend!
