Un paseo en bote local te lleva al Lago Tonle Sap y al pueblo donde vives. verá la naturaleza de una manera que solo ha visto en libros ilustrados y es donde ahora verá casas de aldeanos, escuelas, casas gubernamentales construidas sobre pilotes altos, pero la pagoda en la única colina (el único edificio que no está sobre pilotes) y vea las actividades de los aldeanos que su guía experto le enseñará sobre su cultura, el estilo de vida y el ecosistema de este lugar fascinante.

Disfrute del lago Tonle Sap, es un lago sin fin frente a usted, y los pájaros vuelan lentamente por encima y rodean el interesante pueblo. Durante la estación seca (febrero a julio), se puede llegar al pueblo en minibús o motocicleta, ya que la carretera, llena de baches, que normalmente está inundada, se seca. En la temporada de lluvias (agosto a enero), un corto viaje en bote desde el muelle, a través del área de humedales, lo llevará a Kompong Phluk. This is a great experience to learn and understand about rural life. Our guide Nak was exceptional in his knowledge and attentiveness. We went on the trip with our 17 year old who recognised immediately from the Grand Tour ‘Seaman’ series and was instantly engaged. We would highly recommend

Nak and his driver were wonderful hosts for the entire 1/2 day. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and willingness to share his culture and pride of his country and fellow people of Cambodia with us. We loved the floating city and the market tour and the boat trip onto the lake. The entire experience was exceptional and would highly recommend ask for Nak and his driver specifically.
Had a fantastic half day tour with our local tour guide Sath and our driver Mr Phalit. Visited a number of local sites and markets and a very enjoy boat ride to a floating restaurant. Enjoyed a local beer and refreshment, including visiting a local family and school. Great day enjoying Siem Reap as a local.
Great tour and even better tour guide and driver. Was able to experience children taking English class. Very cute the kids practicing their skills with us.
Our guide Bunrong and driver were very kind and picked us up punctually from the hotel. The tour itself was informative and it was interesting to see how the locals lived We were not so keen on seeing the crocodiles and other animals being kept in captivity and this made us feel a bit uncomfortable. We would also suggest that in dry season the advertised length of the tour was adjusted. We were only out for 3 hours in total
We had a wonderful experience on the Tonle Sap Lake and Kampong Phluk Village private half-day tour. Our guide, Sath, was absolutely lovely—very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the local culture with us. He made the whole trip feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. One of the highlights was how authentic the experience felt. Instead of just passing through as tourists, we were able to really see daily life in the village. Visiting local home, meeting families, and interacting with the children at school made the experience incredibly special and memorable. Our guide explained the lifestyle of the community living on and around the lake in a very engaging way, which helped us understand the culture and environment much better. It felt respectful and real, not staged for tourists. Overall, it was a fantastic tour and a great way to experience a different side of Siem Reap. The driver Mr Sen was brilliant too! We highly recommend it to anyone wanting a more genuine look.
