Disappointed that the tour didn’t go to all the stops. A/C on the bus barely worked and no WiFi as promised. Spent too much time going to places they wanted us to see like the Argan Oil Place and Rug sales and not actual free time to roam the Medina

Tangier Morocco Tour Review Our guide, AKOUH FARID, was delightful and did his best to make a terrible situation better. He was funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely a pleasure to spend the day with. Unfortunately, the tour company itself was an absolute disaster. We were notified the morning of the tour that our 9 AM departure was pushed to 10 AM, then given vague and conflicting instructions about where to meet our guide. The first guide had his sign rolled up in his pocket and no passenger list, so we walked past him multiple times. The company then gave us conflicting information about which guide and tour to join. To make matters worse, the tour was scheduled for five hours even though our ship was leaving in four, creating even more confusion. We were told the solution was to skip the camel ride—the main reason most of us booked the excursion. Thankfully, we pushed back and were able to do it, although it was rushed. The promised Wi-Fi, water, and air conditioning in the van were also nonexistent. Much of the remaining time was spent sitting through carpet and oil sales pitches, leaving little time for the shopping we actually wanted to do. Several of us eventually left the tour early to make it back to the ship. I’ve been on 25 cruises and traveled extensively, and this was by far the worst tour experience I’ve ever had. I’m giving one star only because zero isn’t an option. Please do not book this tour. It was a waste of money and what could have been a wonderful day.

Fantastic. Omar was great. The whole experience was 5 stars. We went every and got to ride a camel. Casper was beautiful annd lunch was delicious. Over all a fantastic tour.

First off, i was picked up over an hour late, due to police going after unlicensed tour operators picking up people at the mosque outside the port. When i called them, they lied and said the car broke down but 2 others they had picked up before me told me they sat in the car for that hour nearby. Then lets go over all the included things we didnt get. No breakfast, no drinks and we had to pay for our own entry to the caves and the lighthouse. Did not go to the casbah or the Moshe Nahon synagogue. The berber market started with a “museum/art gallery” that was actually just a store with high pressure sales tactics. The tour guides reassurances that he got no commission off the sales convinced me he did. When i walked out of the rug store, the guide and the store employees were screaming at each other. After leaving my guide continued to try to get me to go back and make another offer on the rugs i looked at . I left the tour at that point and walked back to the cruise ship.

It’s a scam. We signed up for a “personal luxury tour” and it was anything but personal or luxury. Our tour was supposed to leave at 8:30 am, the night before they What’s App me a message that it was changed to 10am and others would be joining the tour. It ended up chaotic mess at the port, no name list, and we finally left with about a dozen of us in a sprinter van. We didn’t go to many places stayed in the description. The one thing I was really looking forward to was a the inside shopping in the Medina. Instead it was in a rug shop store with high pressure sales guys. It was a BERY DISAPPOINTING “tour”.

Did not know what to expect Omar was great kept us moving. Wish there was more time to shop. Great lunch.

NOT Private. We were on a big tour bus with 40 other people. look for listing that mention minibus or van instead! Excursion itself was fine, with a chaotic vibe. The guide was nice but the instructions were super unclear about the stops. Especially the Hercules cave where it seems like we entered the gift store cave not the actual historical cave.

Omar was a great tour guide. We got so much more than we bargain for. First of all this was not a 4 hour tour, it was more like 6.5 hours. It required a lot of walking so people with handicap and disabilities should not take this tour. It did include lunch at the end, which was a nice bonus. Be forewarned that private does not mean you alone with a driver in a private car. We were on a very nice air conditioned bus with about 25 other people. It was great for us, but other people were complaining about that. Highly suggest this for people doing a day trip off of a cruise. You got to see everything and experience Tangier in a great way. First of all, we booked a private tour. There were 38 people on our private tour. They did not give clear instructions on where to meet. Our tour was supposed to start at 9:30. We weren't able to find our bus for 50 minutes. It took 3 calls to the operator who provided no help, abd we walked iver a mile trying to find our bus. Once on-board we sat and waited an additional 15 minutes for another lost party. So our tour started an hour late. It was incredibly stressful and frustrating. Other tours had drivers right outside the boat with signs. The operator said to look for Omar. I guess I was supposed to walk up and down the cruise terminal and along the docked boats yelling out Omar. I was extremely excited to visit the market. I just wanted an hour to roam freely and explore the market. They took us to one shop where they expected us to shop for an extended time. That's where we abandoned this so called tour and took a cabb back to our cruise ship. This particular tour felt like a scam from beginning to end.

This 4-hour private tour was the perfect way to discover Tangier. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel very personal. We visited Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave, enjoyed a camel ride on the beach, and explored the beautiful Medina. Every stop was well organized, and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tangier!
