Letty was a great guide and very knowledgeable. She checked in to make sure we were going at a nice pace. She knew how to navigate the museum very well and knew her history.

What a wonderful way to experience the gallery for the first time with little time! Our guide was a local art historian and combined explanations about the Medici and a series of the top known paintings. She was friendly and accessible while also helping us look and think deeply. Very enjoyable way to experience a huge gallery that could easily be overwhelming.

We had an amazing experience with the private Uffizi gallery tour organized by - Things to do in. We booked it through Viator. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the art to life with fascinating insights and stories. Skip-the-line access made the visit smooth and stress-free, allowing us to spend more time appreciating the masterpieces. This is a must see museum; however, seeing it with this wonderful guide helped us to realize the nuances of the developing art techniques by the masters. I had been to the museum before but did not enjoy after long lines and no explanations. This private tour helped us to learn more and see more in the time slotted.
Our tour guide was terrific! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all of the art pieces, he was very personable as well. And, when we told him we were going to need to end earlier than scheduled, he was very understanding, flexible, and a total pro at still managing to show us everything on the itinerary!
Chose this tour because of last-minute availability, start time, and duration as we were on a tight schedule in Florence. It was amongst the most expensive (but was 100% private). The meetup was well-coordinated. The guide was prepared, friendly, and knowledgeable. Museum is amazing. I think we finished the tour in less than 90 minutes and were not rushing at all. Stayed in the museum to see a few more highlights, unguided. That was after our guide became the only person on our European vacation to actively solicit a gratuity.
We had a private 2- person tour with an amazing local guide. This is the only way to truly experience the museum, learn about key art pieces, and not have to stress with a self-guided tour and the crowds. Bruce was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We truly had the best possible experience!
