Origen.

Entrada no incluida60 min

Terrible “Tour” - Shamas was a Sham!

Good experiences:: driver on time, good itinerary planned by Viator Bad experiences: Shamas was a paid driver and certainly not a tour guide! His English was very poor, and had trouble answering very basic questions. Gave NO commentary about the city, or meaningful direction to the places once we arrived. After the second stop I told him we would enjoy some information about the city and Japan in general, but he remained silent the rest of the day towards us. He was however on his phone texting constantly when driving, and staring at his GPS on his lap. His vehicle had no working air conditioning so we drove with windows down. He didn’t have any water for us. He made us pay for parking at a couple stops. We have used Viator many times around the world and never experienced that so we questioned him. His response was “did you book through Get Your Guide or Viator? Show me that parking is included.” He didn’t even know which company he was hired to represent that day. I showed him what was advertised as supposed to be included: water, air conditioned vehicle, English speaking guide- all of which we didn’t receive! We were taken to the Skytree as our 2nd stop by 9:30 and tickets were sold out till noon, so that was a wasted stop. We would have purchased online tickets if we were told earlier in the day that was a possibility. This was the worst Viator tour we’ve ever purchased. We could have hired taxi service and received the same service. I did communicate in a respectful manner at the end of the tour my disappointment in the service and requested the parking money back. He did refund us that amount. I think he knew he was in the wrong. Shamas is not a competent English speaking “guide” It was a shame we didn’t get a good quality Viator guide that we are accustomed to for our only full day in Tokyo. Very disappointing!!

Bad company

The tour operator did not show up. I paid more than 300 us dollars and no one showed up at my hotel to pick me up. This is not a reputable company.

Great tour! Would certainly use this service again!!!

Qasim was a great tour guide and took us to all the major spots around Tokyo! He knew everything about each place we stopped at and gave us all of his recommendations which made our experience really good!!! He knew all the go to food places which really helped us take out all of the guessing games!! We picked a full day tour and it was with my entire family and it was awesome! Highly impressed with the coordination of Qasim and he even showed up about 15 minutes early and was waiting for us in the hotel lobby so right when we went down the elevator he was waiting for us and guided us straight to the car! Seriously he is a total gem to the company and hope other get him as a guide as well!! My only complaint would be that the company owner who listed this service on Viator needs to put that the car is a Comfortable Van rather than saying its a "luxury" Toyota Alphard. Although the van was still comfortable and by no means bad, I was really looking forward to being in a Toyota Alphard which is much more luxurious. There also was no wifi in the car. l hope the business owner that created the Vaitor Ad properly adjusts the advertisment to show that the vehicle could be different and that Wifi is not guaranteed as those were some of the main reasons I went with this company initially. Thankfully, Qasim was awesome so it didnt bother us as much! Would still 100% book again without these things but I know that some people will be upset if they didnt recieve exactly what the ad stated! There is also a lot of people working for this company so perhaps some cars do match the description but if all of them don't then it should be mentioned that Wifi is not guaranteed and to maybe just list the car as a "Large Comfortable Van" Overall would 100% book again and still give it a 5 stat rating which says a lot. I travel 6-8 months a year and have had hundreds of tours and Qasim is one of the best guides I have ever had!

Excellent Day!

If you have just one day free as I did, this is the way to go. The sights in the big city of Tokyo are pretty spread out, so the standard walking tour is not an option. This tour was well thought out, maximizing the experience while allowing me time to explore each stop at my leisure. Umar was a very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable guide that I look forward to touring with again soon.

An amazing day!

We had a wonderful day with Muhammad driving us around to the top sights in Tokyo. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and managed to be in just the right place when we were ready to move from one spot to the next. There is no way we would be able to see everything we did in just one day, without this tour!

Customized Private Tour

Rana took us around today for a customizable day! He was flexible and kind adjusting accordingly for the heat. It was nice to have a private tour guide of the city.

Perfect way to see Tokyo

Ahmad did a great job of showing us Tokyo. We saw things we could never have gotten to on our own and certainly not in a day. It was the perfect mix of “guided” and on our own and we were able to set the amount of time we spent at each site. If you book, please double check what tickets you need to purchase on your own. I skimmed that part and we almost didn’t get to go up in the Tokyo Skytree (which was really remarkable!) We had a great day! Highly recommend if you want to see the city and aren’t sure how to go about it!
