El viaje a la gran bahía de Fazayah, a unos 80 km al oeste de Salalah, ya es divertido, porque la ruta pasa por la playa de Mughsail hasta las curvas cerradas en los flancos de Wadi Afawl y hasta las alturas de Jebel Qamar. Allí arriba, te sientes un poco como el mirador en el mástil de un velero: brisa marina y una vista despejada al horizonte, excepto que también están los escarpados acantilados rocosos con sus extrañas formaciones. Un camino empinado pero bueno conduce a varias playas de arena pequeñas y grandes. Ahora es el momento perfecto para ponerse la ropa de baño y sumergirse en las olas del Océano Índico.
Bajando de las montañas, se dirigirá hacia el oeste hasta el popular Mughsail. La primera parada es la hermosa playa de arena, salpicada de miradores y palmeras para quienes quieran descansar a la sombra mientras escuchan las olas. Las montañas se acercan mucho al océano en ese punto y ofrecen magníficas vistas.
Otro espectáculo destacado en Mughsail son los orificios nasales, donde el agua del mar se abre paso a través de la roca, disparándose hasta 28 m de altura en temporada alta. La marea alta durante Khareef trae las mejores vistas, pero el fenómeno se puede observar durante las mareas altas durante todo el año. Entre la playa y los espiráculos pasarás por la laguna, refugio de aves que migran entre África y Europa o Asia.
La última parada hacia el oeste será Masood Beach, una hermosa playa de arena blanca, escondida tan bien en las montañas que algunos la llaman la "playa escondida". La estrecha combinación de montañas escarpadas con arena y agua es una vista impresionante para disfrutar. El viaje de regreso a Salalah incluirá una vista de los famosos árboles de incienso y en muchos puntos del viaje puede tener la oportunidad de ver camellos u otros animales de Dhofar.

This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Salalah. I had the pleasure of going on this trip alone with Abdulaziz as my tour guide and has now become a friend of mine. He was patient, knowledgeable, accommodating and has a good sense of humor. We went to Mughsail Beach, Marnif Cave, Hidden Beach, Blow Holes and Fazayah Beach. The highlight was Fazzayah Beach. I enjoyed the drive down the mountains and the water is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking. Abdulaziz gave me time to dip my feet in the water and sat patiently waiting for me allowing me to indulge to the maximum. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Salalah and especially ask for Abdulaziz to be your tour guide 😊 My only concern was the poor bathroom facilities in Salalah but this was no fault of the tour company. However Abdulaziz always tried his best to find alternative ways for me to use the restroom. Thanks again for an amazing tour and look forwarding to visiting Salalah again in the near future.

I highly recommend this tour! I spent a great afternoon in breathtaking settings. Small tip for the beach: get ready for the beautiful waves and take a board! The guide I had already done the eastern part of Salalah with was really great: accommodating, friendly and really keen to share his culture.

West tour, June 2 Thanks to the guide, we visited such beautiful places: Moogsail Beach, Marnif Cave, Hidden Beach, Holes, Fazaia Beach. We could see the beautiful seaside in Salalah. My guide Abdul took us the several places in half day. His time management skill is professional. He knows well what time we should go to each place.
