Construida sobre un acantilado, la Capilla de la Sra. Da Rocha le permite admirar la hermosa costa y las formaciones rocosas. Hacia el oeste se le presentará a la aldea de Ferragudo, un pueblo de pescadores tradicional que domina el estuario de Portimão. Después de cruzar el río Arade por el puente viejo, tendrá la oportunidad de contemplar desde lo alto del mirador Fuerte de Santa Catarina, el río, la desembocadura del río y la larga Praia da Rocha. Al llegar a la encantadora ciudad de Lagos, un viaje en bote opcional de una hora lo sorprenderá ya que lleva a nuestros turistas a las cuevas y formaciones rocosas de Ponta da Piedade. Una experiencia imprescindible. El centro histórico aún conserva su carácter distintivo, con calles adoquinadas, auténticos restaurantes y un ambiente relajado y acogedor. Un recorrido fascinante e inolvidable por la costa. Una experiencia increíble para recordar.

En el magnífico promontorio de Senhora da Rocha, se encuentra la Capilla de Senhora da Rocha. Según fuentes históricas, la Capilla estaba rodeada por una antigua fortaleza (siglo XV), que dominaba toda la costa entre Faro y Lagos, y protegía a las poblaciones y la costa pero la fortaleza fue destruida durante el terremoto de 1755.
Camine por las calles adoquinadas de este pintoresco pueblo. Tendrá la oportunidad de subir a la colina hasta el mirador de la iglesia principal de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción (Magnífica vista para fotos de la ciudad de Portimão y el río Arade). Descenso a la playa de Angrinha por Praia Grande
Continuando hasta Praia da Rocha visitaremos el Fuerte de Santa Catarina para admirar el río Arade, su desembocadura y la famosa playa de Praia da Rocha. Excelente momento para "parar" y tomar una copa antes de dirigirse a Lagos.
Paseo en barco por las impresionantes cuevas y las impresionantes formaciones rocosas de Ponta da Piedade. Una experiencia imprescindible. Duración: 1h 15m (OPCIONAL) - Suplemento - Adultos: 20 € / Niños Visita del Mercado Municipal de Lagos y su mirador para admirar la Marina y Meia Praia. Un lugar muy relajante para tomar una copa y tomar fotografías. Tiempo libre para caminata y almuerzo. Punto de encuentro después del almuerzo: estatua de D. Sebastião en Praça Gil Eanes Visita guiada a pie, por el centro de Lagos, pasando por el Mercado de Esclavos (el primer mercado de esclavos de Europa) y la Iglesia de Santo António (siglo XVIII - una sola pieza arquitectónica). Conozca el Arco de San Gonçalo Arco (una puerta histórica al casco antiguo de Lagos) y la estatua del mismo santo, donde podrá disfrutar de un escenario ideal para tomar fotos (Meia Praia, Praia da Batata; y el pequeño fuerte de Ponta da Bandeira). Breve visita a Praia do Pinhão y Ponta da Piedade (donde se puede admirar el faro y los acantilados con playas escondidas).
Visita al Mercado Municipal de Lagos y su mirador para admirar la Marina y Meia Praia. Un lugar muy relajante para tomar una copa y tomar fotografías.

What an amazing day in the beautiful area of Albufeira. Johnny is very knowledgable about this area, the history of Portugal 🇵🇹 and the towns in this area . He gave us ample time to explore the surrounding, took us to the best restaurant. Vehicle is airconditioned and Johnny is a very safe driver. We had a good supply of cold water , and the use of clean bathrooms arranged by Johnny at restaurants that he knows the owners. This is definitely a tour guide we can recommend. SAFE DRIVING SKILLS !!
Our trip was an amazing experience, our guide Johnny is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, accommodating, helpful! His knowledge about the history of Portugal , the Algarve and the towns in this area is excellent. He gave us ample time to walk and explore, took pictures of us . Great tour of the Algarve’s coast including a small boat tour of the Bengil caves which entered all the caves . Lunch was exceptional as were the views from the cliffs. Johnny made the day comfortable informative but he was not intrusive and flexible with our group

We spent a lovely day with Johnny and saw the lovely sights that the Algarve coast had to offer. As soon as Johnny picked us up he said that the day was "about us" and that he would tailor the day around us. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the history of the region and gave the impression that he is passionate about the subject and proud of his country. We very much enjoyed walking around Lagos with Johnny and will definitely go back and spend more time there in the future and would also like to explore the caves in that part of the coast and Johnny has offered to help us book that in the future. All in all we had a lovely day and feel that we have found a new friend.

Johnny was the best private tour guide we had during our 2-week Portugal adventure. He took us through the Algarve and showed us so many beautiful hidden spots and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. My friends and I booked this tour in advance of our visit to Algarve (there were six of us). Johnny arrived to pick us up at our hotel and we immediately knew it would be a fun day! He is warm, welcoming, and super knowledgeable. He customized the itinerary to make sure we didn’t overlap with anything else. We were going to see other days. He even booked us to see the Benagil caves as part of our day, which helped we had planned on doing on a separate day which helped consolidate our activities and allow more free time. He took us to so many breathtaking places and was so wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough. He also made recommendations for us as we continued our trip in Spain, which we took advantage of and were fabulous. you will not regret touring with Johnny!

Johnny gave us an excellent tour. We saw a stork farm (that's what we called it), quite a bit of fascinating coastline, and coastal boardwalks that gave great views. Johnny never rushed us and answered all of our questions. He has a great depth of Knowledge about the local environment, including problems with algae incursions, and local (Algarve) history.
