Itinerario
Comenzará su recorrido por la ciudad de Addis Abeba con el Museo Nacional de Etiopía. Este es uno de los mejores museos en calidad y diversidad de las exposiciones. Entre las exposiciones arqueológicas se encuentra el fósil de Lucy (o Dinkinesh – ‘eres maravillosa’ – en lengua materna), una mujer hominoide de los especiados de Australopithecus Afarensis, de 3,5 millones de años de antigüedad. El descubrimiento del fósil de Lucy en 1974 obligó a repensar completamente la genealogía humana, siempre que nuestros antepasados caminaran 2,5 millones de años antes de lo que se había supuesto. El Museo Nacional también contiene muchos artefactos maravillosos que datan de la civilización preaxumita.
Continuamos nuestro recorrido por Addis Abeba con la visita al Museo Etnográfico que se encuentra dentro del recinto de la Universidad de Addis Abeba. Este museo es muy diferente al Museo Nacional, pero igualmente absorbente, esta exhibición del museo, una variedad variada de artefactos y objetos cotidianos relacionados con la mayoría de los grupos étnicos que viven en Etiopía.
conduciremos cuesta arriba hacia Entoto, que una vez fue el campamento permanente del emperador Minilik II. Al conducir por la colina, hay una caída considerable en la altitud y el aire se llena con el aroma de los árboles de eucalipto que cubren el área. Had a fantastic time with our guide Teshome and our driver Nebiyu. Teshome is a wealth of knowledge and we really felt like we got a good sense of the culture and history of the city in one day. We look forward to returning again in the future to explore more of Ethiopia.
