Itinerario

My husband and I spent a wonderful day in the Wicklow Mountains with John ending when he dropped us off at the international ferry port of Rosslare. He knows all the most beautiful and interesting spots as well as the local stories and folklore. The depth and width of his knowledge across many disciplines is remarkable. I am sorry that time didn't permit a stop at the Powercourt Gardens but hope to do that on our next visit to Dublin. Glendalough was a huge highlight - very moving to be among those ancient ruins and to learn about its long history as a place of pilgrimage. Definitely not to be missed. There is also nearby an excellent restaurant for an enjoyable stop if you are so inclined. We learned a great deal on this trip and thoroughly enjoyed John's company. Above all, he is devoted to his clients' welfare and enjoyment of the trip. Anyone who has him as their guide is in for a wonderful experience.
Thank you. I look forward to sharing Powerscourt and much more with someday
John was professional, responsive to questions and concerns before the trip, extremely knowledgable, an excellent driver and fun to spend the day with. We would highly recommend John and his company.
John was an extraordinary guide! He was prompt, prepared, engaging, insightful, pleasant and so very knowledgeable. If you are considering any form of a genealogy tour around Ireland, our family gives John Ducie the highest possible ranking! If circumstances allow, we will call on him again!
John’s amazing knowledge and explanations of history of the magical sites we saw. It was educational and fun! He was a very good driver.
We spent two days with John. The first day we visited the Boyne Valley (New Grange, Hill of Tara, Monasterboice.) The second we visited the Wicklow Valley, Powerscourt Gardens, Glendalough, and the absolutely gorgeous drive there and back.( I could have spent a full day at each of these sites.) John is friendly and professional. He is knowledgeable about history, archeology, horticulture, literature, genealogy, pop culture and more. His choices for lunch were excellent. I highly recommend John's tours .
We had a full day tour with John and it was defiantly the highlight of our 5 days trip to Ireland, John is very knowledgeable and very familiar with the Irish history, he is very pleasant and will answer all your questions patiently, the ride was very comfortable, there were 5 of us in a 7 seats van, I would highly recommend John to everyone that wants to visit the surrounding of Dublin.
John is so knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. He is a good driver which mattered to me. The two day long tours with him were the best ever!!
John was a friendly and very knowledgeable tour guide. When we stopped any site, he told us so much of its history. He even took the time to take pictures of us that we can share with our family and friends. What a great day!
Our guide John was a wonderfully knowledgeable historian and a native to the area. He provided our family a day filled with amazing sights of the Powerscourt Mansion and gardens in county Wicklow that were simply breathtaking. His knowledge of art, literature, sculpture & history allowed us to be immersed in this experience. We saw bell towers , churches, and finished with an incredible meal in town. Don’t miss this treasure! Thank you John!
We did a one-day tour of Killruddery and Powerscourt gardens with John as our guide. John's knowledge and enthusiasm are infectious and insightful. You really need a guided tour to understand the garden's history and fully appreciate what your looking at. John is also a lecturer at the Garden Design Academy of Ireland and is a fountain o horticultural information!!
