Tomaremos el metro desde la estación más cercana a su hotel para llegar al Santuario Meiji. Este santuario, terminado en 1920, es un homenaje al emperador Meiji, una figura clave en el Japón moderno durante el siglo XIX. Disfrute de un tranquilo paseo por los serenos alrededores del bosque y aprecie la distintiva arquitectura de estilo sintoísta.
El viaje desde el Santuario Meiji hasta la estación de Shibuya es corto y sólo dura unos minutos. Situada en el corazón de la ciudad de Shibuya, uno de los 23 distritos de la metrópolis de Tokio, la estación es conocida por su emblemático paso de peatones. Justo afuera de la estación de Shibuya, tendrás la oportunidad de capturar una foto del mundialmente famoso monumento al perro Hachiko.
La Torre de Tokio, construida en 1958, alguna vez tuvo el título de la estructura más alta del mundo. Subimos a un mirador, situado a una altura de 150 metros, mediante un ascensor de alta velocidad. Desde la cubierta principal, disfrute de un panorama impresionante de Tokio que muestra las extraordinarias vistas de la ciudad.
Aunque el mercado mayorista de pescado de Tsukiji se trasladó a Toyosu en 2018, el "mercado exterior" de Tsukiji permanece en el mismo lugar. Asako was our guide. She was and excellent guide. I would highly recommend her. Asako was very patient. Aside from our scheduled itinerary, she found out our interests and made some detours if time allowed. I will definitely request Asako should I decide on another Tokyo tour.

We really enjoyed the private tour with our host. The hotel meeting point was well organised, and our tour guide gave a summary of the day before heading off. In the 5+ hours we did visit all the locations, but importantly the tour guide gave tips along the way. Even showed us how to buy train tickets via the machines. It was a great way to see parts of Tokyo that we may not have considered. Thank you
