Lámpara iluminada por la noche y conocida como "la ciudad silenciosa", Mdina es fascinante para visitar por su atmósfera atemporal, así como por sus tesoros culturales y religiosos.
Junto a la antigua capital, Mdina, las principales atracciones de Rabat son la Villa Romana, con sus excelentes restos de pavimentos de mosaico romano que datan del siglo I a. C., y las Catacumbas de San Pablo, un complejo de cementerios romanos subterráneos interconectados.
Ubicada en la costa occidental de Malta, a 253 metros sobre el nivel del mar, los acantilados de Dingli son la parte más alta de la isla. Los acantilados son una atracción popular para los turistas que visitan Malta, y se dirigen allí para dar un tranquilo paseo con vistas a Filfla y al mar Mediterráneo.
La cúpula de Mosta es quizás la iglesia más impresionante de Malta, con su rotonda masiva, que es la tercera más grande de Europa.

La ubicación de esta fascinante gruta natural se combina con la luz del sol y la cadena de cuevas circundantes para reflejar los colores fosforescentes de la flora sumergida y la sombra oscura y profunda del azul del mar.
Los templos de Ħaġar Qim son hermosos, una obra maestra de la mampostería prehistórica, y considerando que fueron construidos entre 3600 y 3200 a. C., todavía muy bien conservados.
Este pueblo de pescadores es popular por un mercado diario al aire libre, que ofrece una selección de los mejores restaurantes de pescado de la isla y por los tranquilos paseos por la costa y el puerto.
La ciudad capital es muy rica en sitios para ver y explorar, intrigantes edificios históricos en cada esquina: estatuas votivas, nichos, fuentes y escudos de armas en lo alto de los parapetos. We had a lovely day being taken around Malta. Our guide, Salah colled is from our hotel and was very accommodating to the slight amendments we asked for. There was more traffic due to a number of cruise ships in the port but he coped amicably.

Our guide Salah was professional and informative. He made suggestions, but let us ultimately decide what we wanted to do. Best part he would drop us as close as possible which saved a lot of time. Great option for getting an overview of the sights on a tight schedule.
