Update: I am posting this review for a second time because my original review was dismissed by the tour operator, who claimed I had not booked with them and implied my experience was not genuine, while also pointing to their many positive reviews. However, that does not change what I personally experienced. To avoid any doubt, I have attached my Expedia booking confirmation and a screenshot of the WhatsApp conversation in which they themselves sent me the TripAdvisor review link. I am simply sharing my genuine experience so future travelers can make an informed decision. Here is my experience: I was very disappointed with this experience because it was significantly different from what was advertised. My pickup was scheduled for 1:30 p.m., but the driver arrived around 2:00 p.m. due to traffic. Unfortunately, the tour was not extended to compensate for the delay. Instead of the advertised 4-hour tour, I was dropped back at my hotel around 5:00 p.m., with the sightseeing portion lasting only about 2.5 hours. The itinerary stated approximately one hour at each major site, but we spent less than 40 minutes at each location and were rushed throughout the tour. I barely had enough time to appreciate the sites or take photos. The listing also advertised an “all-inclusive” option with included tickets. In reality, only one paid entrance ticket was included, while the other sites were free to access. This was one of the reasons I chose this more expensive tour over cheaper alternatives. The private vehicle was simply a basic economy car, not the comfortable private transportation I expected from the listing. The only reason I am not giving one star is because the guide was excellent. She was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely tried to improve the experience after I explained my concerns. My complaint is with the tour operator and the misleading description, not with her. I would not book this tour again unless the itinerary and duration are accurately represented.

We had a really fantastic time on this tour. Our tour guide, Bisho, was absolutely amazing and was so knowledgable. He was kind and gave us all the time we needed to do each thing- there was no rush at all. Our tour started off by going to visit two different churches which were beautiful in Coptic Cairo. We then went to Commercial Street to learn more about the Egyptian oils, spices, cotton and papyrus. This was then all topped off by going to see Citadel and Mohammed Ali Mosque. Honestly a breath taking experience! Finally we went to a market place. Would definitely recommend booking this tour!

We managed to see a lot of things in 4 hours on our tour of Old Cairo, the Citadel and the souk. Our guide, Ahmed, explained the historical significance of the places we visited thoroughly and added lots of interesting anecdotes! A great way of learning about Cairo's history!

We had an excellent tour of historic Cairo and highly recommend it. Our driver, Maged, was professional, courteous, and made getting around the busy city feel effortless. Our guide, Ahmed, was outstanding. His knowledge of Egypt’s history, religion, and culture was truly impressive, and he brought every stop to life with fascinating stories and context. Visiting the churches, historic synagogue, magnificent mosques, and the famous market gave us a much deeper understanding of Cairo’s rich history and the diverse religious and cultural influences that have shaped the city over thousands of years. Ahmed’s passion for sharing that history made the experience incredibly educational as well as enjoyable. Ahmed was also very accommodating, making sure we had time for photos, questions, and anything else we needed throughout the day, while Maged ensured we traveled comfortably and safely between each stop. This tour was a wonderful way to experience a different side of Cairo beyond the pyramids. We left with a far greater appreciation for the city’s incredible history and culture. Thank you to Ahmed and Maged for making it such an enjoyable and memorable experience!

We managed to pack in a lot of things in 4 hours from Old Cairo to the Citadel and ending with a souk! Our guide, Ahmed, was knowledgeable and his stories and historical insights were fascinating - we saw and learnt a lot! Also, our driver navigated the busy roads expertly. All in all, a great tour!

Bisho was very personable and knowledgeable. He shared his culture with warmth and answered our many questions with respect and kindness as we toured the alabaster mosque and Coptic community and churches.

Beshoy was an excellent guide. He picked us up on time, his knowledge of Egyptian history and all the sites, was incredible. He was also very patient with all our questions and took the time to know us and help us understand the subtle details of the sites. I would highly recommend him.
