La cerveza es una gran pasión en la República Checa. Hay formas muy particulares en las que se vierte, se sirve e incluso se tuesta. Sí, los checos no solo lo beben, lo saborean. Nuestros guías lo llevarán fuera de la zona turística a sus pubs favoritos y le permitirán experimentar de primera mano la cultura checa de beber cerveza. Bien conocido por la canción "Buen rey Wenceslao", fue duque de Bohemia y el santo patrón de los checos. Aunque murió joven y por manos de su hermano, es el icono de la República Checa. Además, los lugareños usan esto como un punto de encuentro. “Nos encontraremos debajo de la cola” es una frase común. Después de encontrarnos, nos vamos a nuestros pubs favoritos, al igual que lo harás en nuestro recorrido.
Construido en 1818, ahora alberga casi 14 millones de artículos dedicados a las ciencias naturales y colecciones históricas. Cuando los soviéticos invadieron Praga en 1968, pensaron que era una sede del gobierno y dispararon contra ella. Los checos han dejado estos agujeros de bala en el edificio para mostrar lo que tenían que superar. Después de extensas renovaciones en los últimos años, ahora se reabre.
En la década de 1300, el emperador del Sacro Imperio Romano Germánico Carlos II duplicó el tamaño de la ciudad al agregar el área conocida como Ciudad Nueva. Una estructura moderna terminada en 1932. Esta iglesia inusual fue diseñada por el mismo hombre que rediseñó el castillo a principios del siglo XX. Esta iglesia en forma de arca tiene la esfera de reloj más grande del país. El hombre que diseñó esta iglesia también trabajó en el Castillo de Praga a principios del siglo XX. Considerado uno de los edificios más feos del mundo, esta estructura fue iniciada por los comunistas a fines de la década de 1980. Hoy es un hito con una instilación de arte bastante inusual. Hay 10 estatuas de bebés adheridas al costado del edificio, lo que hace que parezca que están escalando el edificio. Estas son una de las extrañas obras de arte del artista local, David Cerny. Este monumento también significa que estamos a solo unos pasos de un establecimiento popular de comida y cerveza con una selección de cervezas elaboradas a su manera.
Uno de los sitios interesantes de Praga es este hito cultural. Este edificio alberga bombas de vapor que traen agua del subsuelo. Fue retirado en la década de 1960 y convertido en apartamentos de alta gama. Su plataforma superior tiene 40 metros de altura, lo que le da una gran vista de la ciudad.

The beer and tapas tour was great! Nikola took us by foot, metro, and tram to try local breweries and specialty small bites. Along the way we learned some of the history of Prague and how the breweries came to be. She also sent us other suggestions for restaurants and breweries to try. Definitely a fun experience and Nikola was a fun and entertaining guide!

4+ hours off fun on the Tapas Tour with our guide Guillaume Vergne (Will).He was fabulous and took us to local places that he favored that were not the typical tourist spots. We had a delightful experience We traveled by public transportation to several different areas to try and experience an array of different beers and tapas with a very experienced and knowledgeable guide..we enjoyed venturing out past the regular touristy areas..would do again ..our guide even helped me retrieve a mini tripod i had lost the evening before from a local establishment..thanks again 😁

My wife and I booked this tour through a travel agent as we love to get a sense of a new city's food and culture by first going on a food/beer/wine tour. This was was a great way to get to know a bit of the culture and history of Prague. Our guide was easy to find, spoke great english, and was able to pivot in light of an unforeseen power failure. We saw a different area of Prague that we likely would have never ventured to without this. We got a great mix of beers and food. Go hungry!

We had a great experience on a tour with Vojta! We went to three unique locations and enjoyed seeing some of the area we had not experienced yet (a bit off the beaten path which we love). We experienced beer and tapas at each location. Vojta is very knowledgable about beer and the area too! After being on several tours with history and architecture, it was nice to chill and enjoy an evening of beers and tapas! We had thought we were going to take a tour in Pilsner, but decided on this due to timing and it worked out great! He was prompt and friendly and we really enjoyed the tour! Book it!

We had the best time with Will. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he is a lot of fun. He took us to different places we would've never found on our own. He educated us on the city and the various beers. We had some delicious food as well. I am not a huge beer drinker and still absolutely loved this tour. I was with my adult children, and they truly enjoyed it as well.

Great guide who told us not only about beer, but other things about Prague. He was fun to hang out with. It was just our family and the guide. We probably could have found a lot of bars without the guide, but this made it more fun. He also recommended some food and other things to do.
