We were met outside the port gates by Carmelo who had communicated well her location that morning. The drive to Herculaneum was swift and efficient by Antoni P. On arrival we had time to visit the gift shop before the meet up with our guide Maria Grazia. The tour was interesting and well paced for the small group. She was enthusiastic and informative about the ruins and their excavation. Finally Maria guided us through the museum which containrd many beatiful and fascinating artefacts. We returned to Naples in good time to board our ship.
Thank you so much for this detailed and wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that your experience was seamless right from the start. Carmelo will be glad to know his communication at the port gates was helpful, and Antonio P. will appreciate the compliments on his swift and efficient driving. Maria Grazia will be absolutely delighted to hear that you enjoyed her enthusiastic and informative tour of both the ruins and the museum. Ensuring our cruise guests have a relaxed, well-paced day and return to the ship in perfect time is always our top priority. Thank you for exploring Herculaneum with us!
Great afternoon with Antonio Carolo, our driver, and Patricia, our guide. Very informative about Herculaneum and the area. Special thanks to Antonio for returning my favourite Tilley hat that I left on the minibus. Grazia!
Thank you for your feedback!

Our driver Mirko was exceptional. He was prompt and easy to communicate with. He shared history and cultural information during our drive from Naples to Herculaneum.
Great overview. Paced according to our capabilities. Would not have learned nearly as much without the guidance.

Mirko drove me to Ercolano (Herculaneum) in a Luxury car, so comfort and his kind demeanour was always guaranteed. Rafael was my guide at Herculaneum, bringing wide-ranging knowledge of the area, it's history and the events on 79AD near Veuvius' explosion
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad Mirko provided a comfortable ride and that Rafael’s knowledge made your visit to Herculaneum truly memorable. Hope to welcome you again soon!
Everything was fantastic except for the expected time of return to our ship. The tour itself was informative. The duration was much longer than advertised. Normally not a problem except we had dinner reservations based on advertised duration. Almost an hour longer.
Thank you for your review. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found it informative. We’re truly sorry, however, for the delay in returning to your ship and for the inconvenience it caused with your dinner plans. Timing is very important, especially for cruise passengers, and we will carefully review your feedback to improve our scheduling accuracy. We greatly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again for an even smoother experience.
Great tour of Herculaneum with a knowledgeable guide. Tour staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Our driver Luigi was great. Very clean car. The tour was good. Definitely less crowded than Pompeii. May be a bit boring for kids or people not interested in history.
