Konnichiwa (Hola) de Hiroshima! Este tour cubre todos los lugares de visita obligada en Hiroshima en solo un día, desde las 9:00 am hasta las 4:30 pm. Básicamente usamos transporte público (trenes y ferry / NO coche privado), porque queremos que disfrute del estilo de vida local aquí. Dirigido por un guía local con profundo conocimiento de la historia de Hiroshima durante la guerra, experimentará la auténtica historia de primera mano. Un punto culminante del recorrido es el santuario Itsukushima, famoso por su impresionante puerta torii que parece flotar en el mar durante la marea alta. Este emblemático santuario, profundamente ligado a la tradición sintoísta de Japón, es uno de los monumentos más bellos y famosos del país. Además de visitar los famosos sitios de Hiroshima, lo llevaremos a lugares locales ocultos relacionados con el bombardeo atómico que solo conocen los lugareños, lugares que no encontrará en Internet. Visitando el Parque Memorial de la Paz donde todos los japoneses vienen a orar por la paz.
Visitar uno de los museos imprescindibles para ver las cosas reales que se utilizaban en tiempos de guerra y conocer las historias reales.
El guía te llevará a la isla llamada Miyajima. Visitaremos el santuario de Itsukushima y la calle de recuerdos Kiyomori, donde podrá disfrutar de mucha cocina y cerveza local. ¡Quizás este sea el lugar para almorzar!

I have done several Viator tours but I felt this did not meet their standards. Did not go to any additional places like they said. We only went to the Dome, Museum and Island, no special places. I think it was expensive because you did have to pay for transportation. (bus, train, ferry)

We booked this tour for our day in port from the cruise ship. It was the perfect mix of activities, including a fantastic lunch between the Peace Park and the island. Tommy was a great guide and was flexible in letting us add a few stops and try some local foods. Fantastic day in Hiroshima.

The communicstion with the tour company leading up to the day of the tour was exceptional. We experienced delays on the day of the tour, our doing but the tour company went above and beyond to assist in connecting us with our tour guide, Rena. Rena was great in making sure everything was looked after before leaving on the tour, including lockers for our backpacks. Rena was a knowledgeable guide and because of our tardiness was flexible within the tour schedule by switching to cabs (our cost, our suggestion) instead of trains which shortened travel time. Found us a great restaurant for lunch and during our travels made suggestions that allowed us to sample Japanese cuisine. Would not hesitate in booking another tour with this company and would happily have Rena as a guide.

Our tour of Hiroshima was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our incredible guide, Yuta. He navigated the heavy history of the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Park with immense grace and respect, providing deep historical context that brought the stories to life in a way a guidebook simply can't. What truly made the day special was that Yuta took us off the beaten path to some lesser-known, serene areas that were absolutely breathtaking. Seeing these quiet, beautiful spots away from the main tourist crowds provided the perfect space for reflection.
