Estas antiguas ciudades son la cuna de la modernización del Reino de Siam. Mucho antes de Tailandia, como lo ves hoy, la historia de este reino se encuentra dentro de las ruinas con reminiscencias del pasado. Los templos que representan la influencia del Reino Khmer vienen con cuentos y mitos de estas arquitecturas. Todo esto te espera en esta exploración de día completo.
Su excursión comienza en el lobby de su hotel, donde nuestro guía lo recibe. Nos dirigimos al norte hacia nuestra primera parada, la ciudad de Lopburi. Al entrar en la región, observe a muchos monos que corren libremente y aún más en los hitos inspirados en el Khmer de Prang Sam Yot.
Fue construido a finales del siglo XVII. Contribuido por los arquitectos franceses, el palacio tiene una mezcla única de estilos jemer-europeos. Una vez jugó un papel importante cuando Lopburi fue declarada la segunda capital de Siam por el Rey Narai el Grande. Más tarde fue abandonado cuando el rey Narai falleció.
Nos dirigimos hacia Ayutthaya después del almuerzo. Salida a los templos importantes en el Parque Histórico de Ayutthaya.
El punto culminante principal y más buscado se localiza en Wat Mahatat, donde te maravillas con la cabeza de Buda enredada por las raíces de los árboles que dominan el templo.
Finalizando nuestra excursión con la visita al antiguo templo que era parte del palacio real, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet. Es el templo más importante en el Reino de Ayutthaya. Y es otro templo real sin monje residente, aparte del templo de Buda de Esmeralda en Bangkok

Excellent and informative tour. We really enjoyed learning about the history of the sites. We never felt rushed, very thorough. If these sites interest you, I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Danni did a great job. We also had a delicious lunch.

We took a tour with Snakie! He was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed everything a out our tour. The entire day was beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour with Snakie. We got to see so much and we also learned so much history. Amazing day!!!

We chose this tour because we did not have the time to coordinate logistics for our own tour of both cities in one day. Plus we did not want to be stuck out in the heat. Our guide (Amy or Amoh) was lovely. Very friendly, informative, and managed the tour well. We loved the place she took us for lunch as well. My only disappointment was the cost - almost $400 for one adult and two children. Compared to other tours and expenses during our trip in Thailand this is way above normal which I now know. As a comparison - we later did a half day elephant experience with transport for $90 for 3 people and a full day lake/hike/swim tour including 2 hours transport and lunch for $100 - for 3 people. This is 4-5x the amount of similar tours. I’m sharing only for context so that others can shop around.
