Descubre los monumentos de Río en una visita guiada, que incluye recogida y entrega en hoteles, aeropuertos o puertos de Río. Comience con una visita a la montaña Corcovado, donde cabalgará hasta la base de la estatua de 38 metros de altura del Cristo Redentor. Viaja en furgoneta hasta la cima o sube al tren, para una vista previa del maravilloso paisaje. Después de un tiempo para caminar y tomar la famosa foto, hacemos el camino de vuelta hacia abajo. A continuación, diríjase hacia el mítico estadio de fútbol Maracaná y observe su imponente fachada. Continúa hasta el legendario Sambódromo donde se realiza el desfile anual de Carnaval. Al llegar al distrito de Cosme Velho, tomará un tren de engranajes suizo único que sube la montaña desde su base hasta casi la cumbre. Se llega a la cima subiendo un tramo de escaleras para llegar a la icónica estatua del Cristo Redentor. La vista, desde este punto de vista, con el Bosque Nacional de Tijuca que lo rodea extendiéndose hacia abajo y un círculo de montañas cerrando el horizonte en la parte posterior de la bahía de Guanabara es realmente espectacular. Después de un tiempo para caminar y tomar fotos, hacemos el camino de vuelta hacia abajo.
Desde Santa Teresa hasta Lapa, se encuentran los famosos escalones de Selaron, una escalera decorada con azulejos de colores. Conocida por su enérgico ambiente bohemio, “Lapa” es la zona más bulliciosa de la ciudad, tanto de día como de noche.
¿Has oído hablar del barrio de Lapa? ¡Si no, debería! Es muy fácil saber que has llegado a Lapa. Hay un famoso monumento que es la imagen oficial de Lapa, los grandes arcos blancos del acueducto postal de Río.

Luego subiremos a la Montaña del Pan de Azúcar. Una serie de dos teleféricos te llevarán a la cima del Pan de Azúcar. En la parte superior, de nuevo algunas de las vistas más impresionantes de Río, esta vez desde un punto de vista diferente al de Corcovado. Excellent day in Rio. Our guide Vitor, met us on time at our hotel in his comfortable van, including water and light snack, and suggested the perfect itinerary for our day. We are six adults, two from US and four from Argentina. None of us speaks Portuguese, but that was no problem as Vitor switched between English and Spanish easily. Our first stop was Sugar Loaf mountain and the beautiful views from the top. Vitor gave us the history of the sight and pointed out buildings and neighborhoods. He also explained about the flora and fauna we saw. Next we did a brief stop at Maracana Stadium, and again Vitor pointed out significant sights and gave their history along the route. He also gave the history of Brazil and Rio. We went past the sight for carnival parade and Vitor explained its history and perfectly described the floats and parade. We then went to Tijuca forest. We stoped at many vistas throughout the park, each more beautiful than the previous. We learned about how the park was created and about the flora and fauna in it. Last Vitor dropped us off at a bar we selected in Botofogo neighborhood. He provided suggestions for other activities for the rest of our stay in Rio. We had a marvelous day in the Marvelous City. We highly recommend Gregtur for booking. They were informative and responsive to all our questions and very accommodating to all our specific needs. Vitor was pleasant, informative, and helpful. We would do this again.

Fabulous day in Rio. We saw so much that we couldn’t possibly have done without Camilla (guide) and Francisco (driver). Found Camilla immediately after disembarking our ship at 10.45am. Drive to Christ the Redeemer (Corcovado) was very interesting with the history of the city being explained to us. We had been advised to buy “skip the line” tickets which we did, and needed, but Camilla knew all the short cuts and within a very short time we had arrived at the foot of the incredible statue. Spent an amazing half hour there, then returned to our driver/vehicle where air con was waiting us as well as ice cold bottles of water. Drove to the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura (Royal Portuguese Cabinet of Reading) - Library, which was incredible and then onto Sugar Loaf mountain, via the famous Snoop Dog steps. Once again the queues were unbelievable and all the tickets had been sold out for the day, and so fortunate again to have our skip-the-line tickets, and Camilla. Beautiful views of all of Rio and its amazing scenery. To end our day we drove down to Copacabana beach then back to our ship in plenty of time. Without Camilla and Francisco driving us and guiding us, where is no way we could have done so much. Very grateful to them both.

Everything was exceptional. The driver arrived early. I arrived 15 minutes early and he was already there. The sign was nicely printed. It was easy to see my name. It was a great experience. I would recommend them to any and everyone. In addition, the communication was impressive. Any time I had a question and emailed them I would receive a response with in 24 hours. This type of customer service is rare. They are a top notch company.

Roman our guide from Gregtur was terrific! He took us on a 6 hour tour of Rio De Janeiro that lasted 8 hours and we saw Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf both of which were Spectacular as well as a huge modern Catholic cathedral and the Opera district. We Had a great lunch in the upper cable car station at Sugar Loaf. Roman sped our way Thru long lines by utilizing priority lines and they had us buy our event tickets the day before. Adriana was our driver and she expertly bobbed and Weaved thru the heavy Rio traffic. Very nice And knowledgeable people and they dropped Us off at the International Airport and picked Us up at Our Cruise ship at 8:30

Newton was fantastic. We were picked up at the airport drove around seeing the highlights including the national park around and then we were dropped off at the ship. Spoke perfect English and shared his love for the outdoors. Stay with us the whole time, translating and taking pictures for us. A perfect day before jumping on the ship in the late afternoon.

Arrived on Valentines Day, and in the middle of Carnival. Busy streets but this experienced team effortlessly navigated the parties and traffic to Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mtn. Due to our docking issues, our delightful Lorraine had to leave, but professionally introduced us to Alex. Alex finished our tour with a drive around the historic area and to our delight took us through the Lapa neighborhood carnival to the colorful mosaic steps. What a fun experience to be a small part of Carnival. It was a great day and everything we could hope for.
