History Tours Netherlands presenta nuestros recorridos históricos "Ana Frank en Holanda". Sigue los pasos de Ana Frank y aprende sobre las historias, eventos y motivos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial desde una perspectiva judía, holandesa y alemana. Te llevaremos a los lugares donde Ana Frank vivió, jugó y asistió a la escuela antes de esconderse, lugares que lucen casi exactamente como eran en su tiempo. En el camino, aprenderá sobre las personas que se esconden con Anne en el anexo, los ayudantes, veremos quién podría haberlos traicionado, aprenderemos sobre los combatientes y colaboradores de la resistencia holandesa, sobre actos de valentía y cobardía, y veremos el eventos desde una perspectiva alemana. En última instancia, nos haremos la pregunta: ¿Podría volver a suceder esto en nuestro tiempo? El primer día tendrá lugar en Ámsterdam y podremos caminar y tomar el transporte público si es necesario. El día 2 conduciremos con un automóvil privado a Westerbork, lo recogeremos y lo dejaremos en su hotel.

We learned about these tours through friends. The tour actually consists of a number of sub tours. We did the tour in south Amsterdam (Rivierenbuurt) and the one in the Plantagebuurt on one day. The tour to Kamp Amersfoort, the Verscholen Dorp and Westerbork we did on a second day. The first covered Anne's life before she and her family went in hiding and led us along a number of significant places (Euterpe straat, headquarters and interrogation place of the SD!). The second drew the greater picture of the rounding up and deportation of the Jewish inhabitants of Amsterdam. The second day we went to Kamp Amersfoort. This had actually been set up in the same way as the bigger camps like Auschwitz.The tour then went on to the Verscholen Dorp, a number of underground dwellings deep in the woods near Vierhouten. Finally we went to Westerbork, the camp from which the trains departed for the German concentration camps. We found these tours very interesting. Martin was knowledgeable and explained well.If you want to learn about Anne's life in a short time and not just by visiting the Achterhuis, do one or more of these tours!
