Lo recogerán de su hotel y luego comenzará su día en Fayoum, que es una de las ciudades más antiguas de Egipto, ubicada en el exuberante Oasis de Fayoum y llena de innumerables maravillas naturales e históricas. Luego visitará uno de los lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad, el lago Qarun. También visitará Wady el-Hitan (Valle de las Ballenas), actualmente reconocido como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. El Fayum actual, una maravilla inspiradora con ruinas antiguas, pirámides y obeliscos, es conocido también por sus pueblos pintorescos, artesanías de alfarería y norias, habiéndose establecido estas últimas como un símbolo destacado de la ciudad y el oasis. Luego regresará a su hotel.

El pequeño pueblo de Túnez (‘izbat Tunis) está situado en el oasis de Fayoum, camino a Wadi Rayan. Situado en una colina frente a un gran lago de agua salada, el pueblo ofrece una vista impresionante del borde del desierto al otro lado del lago. Es uno de los lugares más bellos de Egipto.
Es uno de los monumentos naturales más ricos y preciados de Egipto. El lago Qarun recibió su estatus de protectorado no sólo por su obvia belleza e importancia para las aves y las personas, sino también por su incomparable importancia histórica, natural y científica.
Wadi El Rayan es una de las reservas naturales más famosas de Egipto. La reserva natural, que lleva el nombre del rey El Rayan Ibn El Walid, que había vivido en la zona con su ejército, forma parte de la gobernación de El Fayoum y está situada a unos 75 km de la ciudad de El Fayoum.
Wadi Al-Hitan, Valle de las Ballenas, en el desierto occidental de Egipto, contiene restos fósiles invaluables del suborden de ballenas más antiguo, y ahora extinto, Archaeoceti. Estos fósiles representan una de las principales historias de la evolución: el surgimiento de la ballena como mamífero oceánico a partir de una vida anterior como animal terrestre. Este es el sitio más importante del mundo para la demostración de esta etapa de la evolución.
El Fayum, como se lo conoce, es el único oasis artificial, creado no por agua que brota de la tierra, sino por un largo canal, formado naturalmente por la crecida del Nilo, que data de los tiempos bíblicos, llamado canal de José. Se extiende desde el Nilo hasta el gran lago de Birket Qarun. Es este enorme lago, que en un día duro se parece mucho al mar, lo que le da un carácter especial al Fayum. El lago solía ser un lugar importante para la caza de patos y los hoteles en su costa sur albergaban a luminarias como Winston Churchill y el rey Farouk mientras disparaban a las aves voladoras. Aunque todavía se cazan patos, hay mucha más observación de aves tanto en este lago como en el cercano Wadi Rayyan, otra extensión de agua creada artificialmente.

This tour was incredible! The Whales Valley and Wadi El Rayan are breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights into the area’s history and natural wonders. The tour was well-organized, with plenty of time to explore and take photos. The transportation was comfortable, and the lunch provided was delicious. This trip is a must-do for anyone visiting Cairo. Highly recommend!

What a *hit show this was. If you book the cheaper version of this tour for 80 USD "Car+guide", the only thing you will get is a regular taxi from Cairo to the camp. The way it is written is completely untransparent and misleading. I have no clue why this option is even available since without a 4x4 car, you can't do *hit in the park. They didn't mention I would need to pay extra until the very end when they just handed me a phone, and someone was requesting another 50 USD for the drive and lunch. I would have been fine with it if it had been obvious from the beginning, but it wasn't. On top of that, we didn't even visit all the attractions, and that "Qualified Egyptologist Guide" was another driver who couldn't speak English at all. Now these clowns are asking the Viator support bot not just for that 50 USD but for 200, which I consider to be completely pathetic. Stay away from them.
We apologize for you for this misunderstanding but From the begining sit , you booked the option Car& guide . And you have got private limousine car picked you up and you have egyptologist guide in Fayoum . We contacted you at the tour morning confirming on you the booked option " Car+ guide" which means all entry fees and lunch is excluded . They are included in the All inclusive option which you hadn't booked . Secondly , Although you have booked Car& guide option , you refused to pay the entry fees & lunch at the end of thr tour and we payed for you the entry fees and lunch which costs 2300 egyptian pounds .
Highly organized and nice tour . Wadi El Rayan is a great place to visit . Guide Mido is so nice and knowledgeable. We also enjoyed having lunch there and visiting wadi El Hitan . Great service with reasonable price.
