Esta es una oportunidad única para visitar el hogar de un local y explorar la cultura y la cocina tradicionales. Gabriela proviene de una familia italiana. Aprendió a cocinar de su abuelo Ricardo, director de quinteto de tango y bandoneonista. Luego amplió sus conocimientos con el chef italiano Mario Maiollino cuando dirigió su propio restaurante, Ozono, en Buenos Aires. Actualmente es directora de arte y fotógrafa de moda, y trabajó y vivió en Brasil durante muchos años. A Gabriela también le gusta viajar y dice que siempre la ayuda a mejorar sus habilidades y conocimientos culinarios. Harás algunos platos como focaccia con salami, mini provoleta (queso pegajoso), empanadas de carne tucumanas y carbonada (estofado de ternera). Terminarás tu comida con un postre, budín de pan con canela y dátiles con dulce de leche o arrollado se dulce de leche, junto con un poco de té o café.

This felt like less of a class, and more like a visit with a long-time friend. Gabriela's charm, warmth and enthusiasm immediately won us over. We skipped the market tour, and met her at her home, which she remodeled to her exact needs. The kitchen is large, and perfect for sitting, talking and working together. Each dish was fun to help make, and tasted wonderful. The wine flowed freely and paired perfectly. What a wonderful evening. Highly recommended for your next visit to Buenos Aires!

We had a wonderful market tour in cooking class with Gabriela. Her home was beautiful. We made empanadas and stew which we’re both absolutely delicious. Her empanadas were some of the best I’ve tried. Gabriela was so much fun and we really enjoyed the evening.
