Adéntrate en los ritmos cotidianos de la vida tailandesa en el emblemático mercado flotante de Damnoen Saduak, donde las tradiciones locales se fusionan con el comercio en aguas tranquilas. Sumérgete en el animado ambiente del mercado ferroviario y presencia de primera mano la vibrante energía que se respira cuando los lugareños adquieren sus productos básicos. Navega por los canales en un pintoresco paseo en barco y pasea tranquilamente por estos bulliciosos mercados, absorbiendo las vistas y los sonidos.

Recogida en el hotel y viaje al mercado de Maeklong.
El campo de sal blanquecino, no un campo de arroz, por supuesto. Un recorrido adicional especial para nuestros huéspedes que se unan a nuestro recorrido por el mercado flotante y ferroviario en 2020. Esta sal marina es producida por la sabiduría local tailandesa. El productor de sal rotará el agua del mar en diferentes niveles de acuerdo con la fuerza del viento y la luz del sol. La rotación continuará hasta que la sal se convierta en una “montaña de sal” lista para cocinar, cuidar la piel y la agricultura. En la autopista 35 en la provincia de Samut Sakhorn, nuestro guía lo llevará a frotarse la mano con sal y tomar fotografías increíbles.
¡El mercado ferroviario se llama con humor el mercado que "pone en riesgo la vida"! Te divertirás viajando en un tren local hacia la estación de Mae Klong. Mientras esté en este tren, verá la experiencia "Unseen-Thailand". Cuando suene la señal del tren, ¡se producirá el caos! Los vendedores se apresurarán a restar valor a su puesto y retirar todos los productos que obstruyan el paso del tren a gran velocidad. Una vez que pase el tren, todos los propietarios de tiendas volverán a abrir sus puestos.
Observará cómo los agricultores tailandeses producen néctar de coco y pan de azúcar de palma. Verá una demostración de cómo cortar la flor de coco, verter el néctar en un recipiente de bambú, colocar maderas de conservación en el recipiente, hervir y pasteurizar el néctar de coco en el recipiente potable. Intentarás exprimir la leche de coco de la cáscara del coco utilizando una máquina tradicional tailandesa de madera con “dientes de conejo”.

This was a 6.5 hour tour of which 4.5 hours were travel. Not as advertised one hour! First we drove in a van to RR station, then 1 he train ride to RR market. Followed by 20 min ride to pier then after flaring market, 2 hours in van back to Bangkok. The guide was essentially a babysitter. There was zero commentary about each destination. She didn’t even inquire about bathroom needs during long duration. I finally asked and there was a sketchy option. I had asked in advance for a little much stop. However, since the floating market closed at 1 pm, her offer of a much later look much was rejected. There was no time to shop, and during this long day, we even had to skip the salt farm and coconut farms to see a glimpse of the major destinations. Yes, the RR market and floating market was interesting. But I never would have booked this tour realizing how much was travel and how little was tourism.

Floating market and railroad tours was fantastic! We were picked up from our hotel on time and the driver Kevin navigated traffic like champ throughout the tour. Lin is truly an asset to Viator. She broke down what we should expect at the Mao Klong train market and then the floating market. She is an expert with moving us through the markets. She was our personal photographer as well. We have the best pictures to add to our memories. Lin also gave suggestions on other must see during our visit. She was personable and was easy to understand. I highly recommend the tour with Lin.

All the places that we went are awesome. Loved the rail trip and the market with the train passing between the stores. The sugar coconut farm was incredible also. The boat very nice the only thing the government must clean better the canals.

We had an amazing experience with this tour. First of all, our Tour guide Jim is so knowledgeable, nice and hospitable person. She’s our tour guide and also has great photography skills - takes amazing instagrammable photos along the tour. What I like about this tour is that they don’t just drop you off to the destination, they actually plan to make it a more wonderful experience by having you ride a 30-min train to reach the railway market, and having you take a boat from a village to the floating market. That in itself an amazing and memorable experience. Our amazing driver Lucky waiting to pick us up from one spot after another with cold water and refreshing towels to help us after finishing exploring the destinations. Both Jim and Lucky are incredible at what they do, I felt that we were taken good care of during the whole duration of the trip, and were thinking of how they can make the whole trip comfortable and fun. Poppy is as amazing. Knowledgeable, flexible, and helpful. She knew we wanted a more local experience so she took an alternate path back to our hotel so we could experience more local Thai culture. The floating market was a bit of a disappointment, with mire souvenirs than food products as we expected but the overall trip was well worth it.

Our guide, Oil, was great. Not only did we see the sights, we had excellent insight and photography services. our guide took us to a coconut plantation, family owned/operated where we learned about coconut sugar. The floating market and railway markets were a highlight of our vacation.
