El recorrido incluye un recorrido panorámico seguido de una visita al casco histórico de la ciudad, entre sus sinuosas callejuelas y empinadas escalinatas, casas-cueva de pobres y majestuosos palacios barrocos de la nobleza, huertas y amplias terrazas, entre las que de repente se encuentran miserables chimeneas. y extrañas campanas aparecen iglesias subterráneas. El recorrido tiene una duración de 2-3 horas e incluye la visita a la casa-museo rupestre de la cultura y vida tradicional campesina de Matera (el precio de la entrada del grupo es de 2€). Durante el recorrido será posible detenerse en uno de los lugares característicos, dentro de las cuevas, para degustar productos típicos de la cocina lucana. Tiempo libre después del tour (duración del tour y tiempo libre según lo acordado).

Itanata organised a very great tour in Puglia + Matera We visited Bari , Polignano Al Mare , Monopoli , Alberobello , Locorotondo , Matera , Acqua Viva Delle Fonti , Lecce , Otranto , Gallipoli … Very good planning , detailed explanations - specially on the key historical / touristic points . Superb reviews on the churches history and their architecture . Also time to stop in selected places for lunch , dinner and visit to wine producers .
