Vinod gave me a great tour of Varanasi. His knowledge of the area was excellent, and I would definitely recommend him.

I had the most incredible two days exploring Varanasi with Vinod as my tour guide. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized — he was punctual, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about sharing the spirit of this ancient city. Throughout the city walk, we explored narrow lanes full of life, color, and history. Every stop came with fascinating stories — about the city’s mythology, daily life, and spiritual importance. What I appreciated most was how Vinod made me feel comfortable and safe navigating such a lively city. His warm personality, excellent communication, and genuine love for Varanasi made the entire experience memorable. If you’re visiting Varanasi, I can’t recommend this tour enough. It’s the perfect balance of history, spirituality, and authentic local connection. The sunrise view on the Ganges and the city walk will stay with me forever.

Our tour with Vinod was the highlight of Varanasi! He’s kind, knowledgeable,professional, timely, honest, everything you could hope for from a guide! Prior to meeting Vinod I had a difficult time settling into the city. Being with Vinod I felt very safe, I wasn’t on alert of the surrounding - more so able to really enjoy them, learn, take in the experience. We went along the ghats, went to the morning arti, and walked along pathways we never would have found on our own. I’ve been on several tours in India and Vinod has been my favorite! I do hope to see him again someday.

3 of us (2 professional photographers) toured with Vinod for a couple of days and night. Vinod was AMAZING!!! He is a former teacher in India and his grasp of English and history and his great personality was fantastic. I cannot recommend Vinod enough. He got us amazing seats for the ceremony (pictured at left), took us on a boat tour, took us on a walk through the city, took us to a morning ceremony, also got great photos for me as I was the only non-professional and he took photos on my phone that are amazing!! He took us to a place where Buddha lectured and gave me a fascinating lecture about Buddha's life. He also explained Hindu beliefs and current issues. Varanasi has a special charm and more if you are accompanied by a local expert like Sanjay Gupta. His knowledge of the country, his sense of humour and his passion for his work are very present qualities.

Varanasi is a spectacular city, a place you should definitely visit if you want to experience the power of Indian culture in its maximum expression of devotion and spirituality. I was fortunate enough to meet her accompanied by Sanjay, an exceptional guide who speaks amazing Spanish, something that was not easy to find in northern India, at least in my case. Sanjay is a dedicated person, passionate about his work and with admirable patience. He was always willing to answer our concerns, and when he didn’t know something, he acknowledged it honestly, which I highly valued. Not only did he fulfill everything we asked of him, but he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was unforgettable. I was especially impressed by her love and devotion to Varanasi’s daily rituals, which made every moment even more special. Thanks to your diligence and enthusiasm, my mom and I took wonderful memories of this unique city. Thank you, Sanjay, for your patience, your dedication and for sharing with us everything that makes Varanasi such a magical place!

Vinit Pandey is a good guide. Told ts a lot of Hinduism and the the holy city Varanasi. Nice walk after boat ride through the alleies.

Great tour. We were picked up on time and our guide (Vedant?) was very knowledgable and gave us so much information. The boat trip was very good and we saw a lot of the Ganges we would otherwise have missed. It was nice to hear about Varansi and it’s history from a local. He talked us through the cremation process which was very moving.
