Itinerario

120 min

Great walking tour, flexible and very knowledgeable!

We had our tour with Imran. He was very knowledgeable, fun and was always ready to answer our every question. We booked the tour expecting it would take us two hours, but Imran made sure he was available for even longer than that, and did not rush us at any point, allowing us to take it at a chill pace and sharing so many interesting details about the history of the island, politics, religion and life in Zanzibar in general. We had a great time and were very happy with his flexibility and willingness to share as much as he could with us. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Zanzibar!

Wonderful walking tour for the whole family!

The tour was wonderful and exaxtly what we were looking for with a froup ranging in age from six to seventy! A very large thank-you to Imran for his excellent guiding abilities and his patience with our very active six-year old! He was exactly the tour guide we wanted and needed. We learned so much about the people, history and culture. He worked with our pace and let us stop as needed. It was a great experience and we fully recommend it to everyone. Also, ask for Imran- you wont be disappointed!

Mohammed Omar was our tour guide ! Such a fantastic joy and wealth of information - so patient and understanding of our limitations (being two older ladies) he was so calm showed us all the highlights and was so gracious in taking it at our pace (spending so much longer than what was booked and expected) - Mohammed we totally appreciate and recommend you. Thankyou Wendy and Adee 28/02/26 @11.00am

A must do - brilliant tour!

My wife and I booked a private 2 hour tour and it was brilliant - our guide was so knowledgeable and took us round Stone Town showing us all the sights including the local market. Never a dull moment - his English was excellent and he taught us all about the influences through the history of Zanzibar from the Middle East (Oman), Portuguese, British, through to independence. Not only did he give us the history he also taught us about the culture. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Stone Town - amazing how much we covered in just 2 hours. THANK YOU! PS - point of note - the tourist information centre is not there so if you stand on the road opposite the old fort in line with the Cape Fish Restaurant they will find you. The tour guides wear red polo shirts 👍🏻

A nice guide, but amateur for a basic visit... too bad!

The tour took place with a guide who had learned French via the internet and who improvised himself somewhat guide in Stone Town. With the exception of the museum dedicated to the slave period, the explanations about the neighborhoods and doors were basic and the remarks redundant. This is not really what you would expect from a guide, moreover we did not enjoy going through a store (which we already knew), either saying to take the fee.
