We’re delighted to hear you had a wonderful Rome Private Walking Tour with Travelling Italy. Thank you for your lovely feedback!
This tour leader was undoubtedly knowledgeable but he was NOT interested in answering questions nor was he concerned about what we were interested in. There were only two of us so it would not have been difficult to address our questions. Instead he just raced on with his schtick and in fact practically ran through the tour. He never even asked our names or told us his. It was hard to keep up with him and if something interested one of us and we wanted to stop and look at it, he just kept going. He was very impersonal
Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you appreciated the guide’s knowledge. He consistently receives very positive reviews for both his expertise and the quality of his tours, which is why your experience is surprising to us. Our guides are encouraged to keep a steady pace in order to cover the full itinerary, while also remaining open to questions and interaction. It’s possible there may have been some misalignment in expectations on the day, but we’re sorry to hear that the experience felt rushed or less personal than intended. We will nonetheless share your comments with the guide, as we are always looking to ensure every guest feels engaged and comfortable throughout the tour. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts, and we hope you still enjoyed your visit to Rome.
