Los Nueve Santos Cañones en la Ciudadela Imperial Hue son un conjunto de cañones de bronce masivos que simbolizan la fuerza y unidad de la dinastía Nguyen. Fundidos en 1803, estos cañones intrincadamente decorados se consideran tesoros espirituales y se muestran como artefactos históricos, no como armas.
La Puerta Ngo Mon, también conocida como la Puerta del Mediodía, es la majestuosa entrada principal a la Ciudadela Imperial Hue y un símbolo de la arquitectura de la dinastía Nguyen. Construida en 1833, la puerta cuenta con cinco entradas, con el pasaje central reservado exclusivamente para el emperador. Su pabellón superior, conocido como "Lau Ngu Phung" (Pabellón de los Cinco Fénix), sirvió como plataforma para ceremonias reales y megafonías.
El Palacio Thai Hoa en la Ciudadela Imperial Hue es una obra maestra de la arquitectura de la dinastía Nguyen, que simboliza el poder real y la armonía. Our leader had an incredible knowledge of the history of Hue. The location was fairly crowded, but we were able to walk through and get a great trip there

We have done the special version on the motorbikes and it was amazing. I would not be able to drive on my own and it was great and safe for my 9 years old son to experience the countryside on the motorbike with responsible driver. We visited animal fighting arena, American bunkers, all tombs and the pagoda. Our driver took us on some small village roads and floating bridge which was amazing.
Ms. Ha was amazing with my 9yo son, very patiently and carefully explaining things to him to make sure he is interested and understands. They had great time collecting cicada shells from the trees too ;)
The tour was excellent & visited amazing sights, we would like to highly recommend our tour guide Ha who was exceptionally informative & knowledgeable. We were delighted to be in Hue which has great history & modern life also

Absolutely amazing! Mr Hua (the guide) was so flexible, kind and knowledgeable. He even took a lot of pictures of me and as a solo traveler this is precious. If you go to hue don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about this historic site.
We are on a 24 day OAT tour of all of Vietnam We tour the citadel (Forbidden Purple City). This palace is somewhat like the Forbidden City in Beijing China but in no way as crowded with tourists (especially those pushing and yelling XXXXXX tourists). Again, this structure was once the private 3 miles by 3 Mile fortified wall city reserved for the emperor and family. The compound is MASSIVE (much bigger than the Forbidden City in Beijing China). THIS IS A MUST SEE location for anyone visiting Vietnam, but make sure you come here with a guide as just roaming around the grounds on your own, you will NOT relate well to all the history here. Our guide note if you wanted to visit all the buildings within the walled citadel it would take you 3 days of exploring. There is a massive water Moat around the 3X3 mile complex, and within its design was to be able to fend off invaders, and especially invaders at the time that had the ultimate weapon = Elephants!!!!
