My husband and I had the pleasure of learning about (and admiring the beauty of) Budapest from a real expert. Suzi tailored our tour to fit our interests. We leave this beautiful country a great deal more informed than when we arrived. We highly recommend this tour, and Suzi in particular.
Thank you so much for chosing my tour :) Hoping to see you again one day!!! Wishing all the best to You and your husband!
A walk using the bus and train through Budapest. Our guide Tünde provided us with many interesting insights and information. Thank you very much for the lovely day.
Vielen Dank für das feedback!
Joel, our guide, adapted his visit to our desires, our rhythm and what we had already seen. He speaks perfect French. He made us discover a city very rich in beautiful sites and we had a great time. Attentive to make our entire stay pleasant, he also told us good restaurants, places for the evening and how to get to other sites. A big thank you to Joel.
Suzy met us at our Airbnb and led us on a very informative and fun tour of Pest & Buda, customized to our interests. Her knowledge is encyclopedic, but what really stood out is how much she loves her country and its history. Her enthusiasm is infectious. We left feeling much more connected to Hungary.
Suzy was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge about Budapest, Hungary and the Magyars. She was a wonderful guide for our family as she took us through the city using the metro, buses, and the underground. We saw so much and learned a lot about the history of this beautiful place and the culture. We stopped in churches, took pictures and she helped pick out some restaurants for later in the trip. She was a wonderful tour guide. I’d highly recommend using her services.
Thank you so so much for your feedback. :) It feels truly wonderful to be appreciated! Happy to meet you, hoping a return of it. Happy New Year to your whole family! Suzy
Suzy gave us a thorough in depth tour of the city on both sides of the Danube. Not only did we learn relevant history but how to ride on public transportation, valuable restaurant tips and in which cafe to enjoy the best torte! This was time well spent and set us up for the rest of our time in the city.
Thank you so much for your review! I hope to see you again in Budapest and show you even more. Wishing you all the best. Suzy
A day well spent exploring Budapest with Suzy who loves what she does and is very knowledgeable in Hungarian history, culture & art. She gave us an overview and guided us to places we shouldn’t miss seeing. She also got us to taste the best goulash is town. Came out of the tour learning so much of the Hungarian history. If we visit Budapest again will definitely book Suzy again and will highly recommend her to anyone visiting Budapest. Thank you Suzy for a lovely day exploring your beautiful city.
🙏🏼 Thank you so much for such kind words. This is what keeps me going day by day when I read a review as beatutiful as this:)
Our guide met us at our hotel and gave us an overview. From there we hopped on a bus and off to Buda! We learned a not about the large scale engineering projects and the took the funicular to the top. So much history— lots of construction and it is amazing how much the Hungarian government is doing to re- model/ construct the palace and surrounding buildings. It shows the strength and pride of the Hungarians. After taking some less travelled paths, one with an overlook of Buda neighborhoods- we headed to the church- I think you get the idea I guide was knowledgeable, very proud of her country- as she should be. Back over to Pech where we saw w writhing using bus and subway. Even had time to learn about the best desserts and try some Great afternoon!
Dear Andrea, Thank you for your review :) It was my pleasure. Hope to see you again in Budapest one day.
What a wonderful introduction to Budapest and its history. We learned a lot and came away wanting to learn more about the places we visited.
It was my absolute pleasure to guide you, guys! Thanks for coming on my tour! Hoping to have the pleasure again :)
It was very hot. Our guide was determined to tell us as much history as possible which involved a lot of standing around, sometimes in the sun. We were 5 persons aged late 60s, early 70s. We found out later from other guides or from google that not all she told us was true. We actually wanted a sightseeing tour, not a history lesson. We didn’t see that many sights due to the standing around while she talked.
Dear Yvonne, Thank you for your feedback. I will look into myself and try to understand why I have never in my 15 years tour guiding full-time career have received not even such a bad review but always given 5/star reviews. Will definitely think about it all. Regarding Google, please send me where I went wrong. Thank you for your help. Kind Regards, Suzy Szoke
